We didn't receive any letter but I emailed the NVC about our case and they gave us our case number with temporary priority date

Hi Reina! We didnt receive the letter yet too. But got the case no. when i called. What do you mean temporary priority date? How do i get that, by emailing NVC? NVCINQUIRY@state.gov? Thanks!

You should check your case number on ceac.state.gov and see if it's ready I think the priority date is the received date of the petition because my priority date is the same received date with my NOA1. Then try to email NVC, I used NVCResearch@state.gov

Here's what I received from them :

One of the members here said that it is the letter/email that K-1 usually get from NVC lol didn't know it so better email them too they usually reply in just a day

I will try to email NVC and ask for the Priority date. does this mean, at this moment i can already schedule a visa interview using my MNL/case number even if i still did not receive the package and invitation from US Embassy manila? Or i still should wait until i get the package before scheduling visa interview once my medical exam is already done? Thank you!

I never received a hardcopy for NVC. I guess it's true when they say that some get it and some don't. Maybe it's embassy specific?

I didnt receive a hard copy but I emailed them and they gave me a letter or email with my petition being forwarded to the embassy Some people gets it especially to some embassies that requires packets being sent to them but some don't really receive it all Edited November 10, 2016 by Réina17

same here they just emailed me today , i had emailed them days ago asking about the case number , the email looks like the same format the nvc letter will be ,im guessing ill get the nvc letter this month sometime , also case is still "At NVC" but should be in transit hopefully tomorrow
