We didn't receive any letter but I emailed the NVC about our case and they gave us our case number with temporary priority date

We got our NVC hard copy already. The embassy said you need an Eligibility Letter either by mail or email before you can schedule an interview and do your medical.

Cool! We didn't receive any letter but I got an email from NVC with our case number, name of petitioner and beneficiary and they forwarded it to the embassy. Was able to book interview with just the case number and priority date. The embassy just said I have to bring appointment letter (all pages)

Hi Soulstriker. Is Case Number and Receipt Number the same? We have almost the same dates in processing the K1 visa and until today, still waiting for the embassy to contact me and to receive the package from my country US embassy.. Thanks i hope you will respond Good luck to all of us!

What country are you from? Not sure if I'm exactly right but I think case number is from NVC. After NVC received your petition, they will give you a case number and the receipt number is from NOA1 of your petition. Please create your Vj timeline

NVC allowed you to schedule interview and track case throughout visa interview

I found a blog about it and i am calling NVC to get the MNL no. we should have called last week of Sep.. but hopefully our case was already forwarded here in US embassy Philippines. You can also email the embassy I emailed them and they replied in 24 hours. They said they have the electronic file and will receive the physical file shortly. I tracked the physical file on DHL EXPRESS and our physical file should arrive later today!

Yeah! It will just work once the DHL picked up the documents.

Got it finally after 30 minutes of patiently waiting! The customer rep is very friendly and accommodating! My case is now "READY". waiting for the US embassy manila to send me the package then schedule my interview :)Thank you!

Congrats! You can now book and schedule medical without the packet because sometimes it won't arrive :)Paid the visa fee and booked the interview yesterday without it. Did you receive NVC letter?
