Hello everyone!

Anyone else applied in the DC area? I applied at the end of August and had my fingerprints taken in September in Northern Virginia (Alexandria), but I haven't heard anything after that and on the USCIS website the last update is about my fingerprint appointment...

Hi, I applied to Washington D.C. field office and already got naturalized but I think it was that fast because I applied under a different INA. Actually it was right the normal processing time. I estimated I would get my interview somewhere in Jan as my priority date was the end of July. My interview could have been as early as the beginning of Jan but I moved it to the end of Feb. 

 

 

good luck to you with the naturalization process. I know it might get discouraging and nerve wracking while waiting long. Everything will be all right eventually. I wish I wouldn't have  spent so much precious time worrying. Keep your chin up!

Got emails/texts that my interview was scheduled. The notice has not yet been uploaded. I'll keep everyone posted when I get to view the letter. Like I mentioned before, I will be out of the country all of April, so I had a bad feeling that my interview has been scheduled exactly when I am gone!

Also received an email saying "action taken on application." I logged in but there is no PDF yet, I can see the change on the "egov" site, which says an interview has been scheduled. I have the same PD as babyduck and we are both in Seattle so that's at least an indicator that they are processing IOE "glitch" applications from August 8th. We are moving along August filers.

 

From what I've found in other forums it is not uncommon to wait 2 days for the PDF to be available.

I think they mean the timeline link which is right underneath your country of origin's flag icon on the sidebar. Some of us also have that one filled out. It helps for those not wanting to browse through posts to find that August filers list.

Wahoo! I saw that you and Miklo both got your interviews scheduled. Finally!

 

For anyone else in Seattle who is curious: my pd is 8/7 and my interview was scheduled about two weeks ago.  It's on 4/5.
