If there are Los Angeles filers, I called today and spoke to L2 and they are processing applications at 8 months, 15 days.  They will not accept service requests until after that official processing date has been exceeded, so be patient.  San Fernando, Southern California (etc) and probably San Diego can expect same thing.

Hey everyone. Just a quick message to say I just received a text to say that my interview has been scheduled. Don't know the date yet but I'm really excited it could all be over soon. Please be patient. It may seem to be taking forever but you'll get there.

OMG! I filed August 19, 2016 and Bio metrics was Sept 12. I was hoping to get an interview by April. I thought the processing was just 5 months.

It's backlogged; naturally since we are all waiting :)   I recall looking around this time last year and it was averaging 3 months.

Today I called an L2 Officer for the first time, she was nice and told me that I was In line for interview, but couldn't see when I was placed in line. She also said that the file is with the NBC still until there's a spot open at my FO ( Santa Ana, CA ) for interview..

According to their processing time on the website, it's 8 months and 15 days, and that's what the rep said on phone, hopefully that is just a basic number and it won't take that long (although now I have been waiting almost 7 months so it makes sense.
