Yeay just got the text message and email notification with my NOA number at 7:32pm. I was waiting for it all day long.

What are the three letters your case number starts with? Mine is IOE and from a quick google, and other threads here in the forum, there seem to be differences between IOE and NBC numbers, I just don't know what the difference is yet.

It starts with IOE. I think I have to call USCIS in case I won't get a bio appointment this week.

you will get a NOA in the mail soon, in there it will tell you how to create an online account and you will be able to access documents like the NOA as well as the biometrics appointment notice in there, its pretty cool.

IOE means ELIS (e-Filing). I got NOA but NO welcome USCIS ELIS letter or any instruction, like it is promised on the website, to create an account. I had an account that I created before to make a payment but then realized the updated website doesn't require to create an account any more. So I still have it and it is empty. I think you can create it too, but won't be able access any info. When I click the link at the right hand side 'Enter Your Online Access Code (See Account Acceptance Notice)'

it comes up with:

" If you received an online access code in the Welcome to USCIS ELIS letter sent to you, please enter that online access code below to access and review your application."

and then:

"For security reasons, USCIS ELIS will never send your online access code via email or SMS/text messages.

When you enter a valid online access code, you will access your case on a read-only basis. You will not be able to make changes to your application, petition, or request.

then i am really sorry for "giving out" that information. I have no idea why they created that for me or how i prompted them to do so. i thought we all would get that. very strange!

I finally got the SMS and emails from USCIS wit teh Acceptance confirmation !!! took them 48 hours from the time they charged my Credit Card !!

BTW the receipt number starts with IOE , not sure what difference this makes.

I've never heard USCIS sending e-mail/text notification upon their recept of an application before, unless we later sign up for it online ourselves after we receive the Receipt Notice in the mail. Does it only happen to people who filed an E-Notification Request Form along with their N-400? Or it happens to all N-400 applicants as long as they provide USCIS with an e-mail address and/or cellphone a number on N-400 itself? Thanks.
