My wife and I submitted our N400 application in August.  For some weird reason, I had my FP Sept 6, 2016 and hers was Sept 28.  Now, she just received her interview schedule 2 days ago for March 30.  Mine is still nothing!  Not sure what happened that I had the FP earlier than her but she will get interviewed first.

Anyone knows what number to call and ask whats going on?  We are from NJ.

@ChristianZane    my PD is 8/16/2016 , that's why I'm waiting for it to be 6 months before calling and trying to see what's going on

You can't wait six months, you have to wait as long as the processing time on their webpage, if you fill out the Outside Normal Processing Time form, it says you will have to wait, in the case of Santa Ana California, six months and 18 days.  They will update these numbers on Wednesday so check back then.  It would also be nice to fill out your timeline as there is no information on your case when you click it.

Hi everyone,

I had my interview yesterday at the Washington, DC field office. It went very well and I passed the test. Right after I left the FO, I received a bunch of txts and emails that my case was updated online. The "my case status" page where you put in your receipt number says that I am in line for oath scheduling. However, when I log into my ELIS account it says "oath scheduled" but there's no PDF. I am not sure which one to believe. I am wondering if this is another glitch where the ELIS account says "oath scheduled" when you're actually only placed in line, which is what happened when I was in line for an interview. Anyone else see this status?

@Immortal   I'm on the same predicament, I was expecting my FO Santa Ana, CA to update their processing times yesterday but they haven't done it.  As fo January 25th they were processing N400 cases as of June 12th,  my PD is August 16th and today marks the 6 months, but I imagine that in their eyes I still fall into the normal processing times.

I might attempt my first Infofail call tomorrow early and try to talk to an L2 officer and just ask them if I'm "in line for interview" and that's it.

You still fall within their posted processing times, if you call or send them an online query they won't be able to help you, as I mentioned you will need to wait 6 months and 18 days for Santa Ana, they were supposed to update their processing times today but they didn't.

Just checked the processing times for my FO ( Santa Ana, CA) and they updated the page today, they are now processing July 28th !!! , I'm just hoping they keep advancing fast to get an interview ASAP !

I got a question in case any one can provide some opinion:

My wife is currently on a OPT from an F1 ( student visa), we've been married for 4+ years and we have waited to submit her petition until I become a US Citizen. Everything was going according to plan, until this whole IOE fiasco happened.  Her OPT expires in June of this year and making numbers if I were to become a citizen by say April and then right away submit her paperwork, we wouldn't be getting a Green Card before the OPT expires. Would her status be an issue at the time since I would be a USC ? Could I do something now that I'm getting closer to becoming a USC ?

Thanks in advance (^_^)/
