I just wanna double check with you that your field office is the one in Downtown L.A., not the San Fernando Valley office in Chatsworth, or the Los Angeles County office?

Thanks.

Can anyone explain how scheduling works, I posted here a while ago saying that I spoke to a L2 immigration officer, I was advised that it could take up to 8 months (but more than likely be about 6 months from start to finish). I sent off my N-400 on July 21st, check cashed about 2 weeks later, NOA received August 10th, Biometrics done September 2nd and still no progress. I am asking this as a timeline I am following sent in after myself, to the same office in Texas and had their interview and oath yesterday at the same local office of Denver!!!

How are the determining who has interviews and who has to wait.

This isn't a moan, far from it, I just thought someone would know the answer. Congrats to everyone who have had or scheduled in for the interview and the best of luck to you all my friends.

Dave :)

Here is my info for the next update.

Did not receive any notification saying Inline, but received an email couple of days after the finger print was done saying account was updated although there was no change in account. Assuming that to be inline.

Inline for Interview: 09/02/16

Interview letter received: 12/10/16

Interview Date: 01/11/17

Hi all,

I am new here and would appreciate some insight. I filed my N-400 august 12th. I have only done my biometrics so far which was the first week of September. I havent received any updates as of yet online. Any recommendations? I filed in Philadelphia.

Thanks!

Looking at the table: has anybody who filed through the Texas Lockbox and doesn't have an NBC number heard anything back yet?

Not us... :(

what do you guys mean by inline?

Inline means Inline for interview. If your application starts with NBC and you have cleared background check you will receive a notification that you are inline for interview. From what i understand it means you are placed in queue to be scheduled for interview which can take anywhere from one to several months depending on your field office.
