You should have received the second NOA. I had two. First said that they accepted the case with the code to check online, they way you check and the second one that I posted online. Do all your notices come to you directly or to your attorney first? Also, which form did you file? There was an old form that was accepted until the middle of AUG if I am not mistaken and new form was also already available. Maybe that is a problem? I am not sure.

that is interesting! I did not receive a second NOA. The only letter I received after the NOA was the biometrics appointment letter. As for my form-I am not sure which one I filled (got it from the incompetent attorney) however I checked now and on the top right it says

"USCIS

Form N-400
OMB No. 1615-xxxxx
Expires 03/31/2019"
I assume that is the new form? and since I am an IOE case it is probably because of the new form as well...

yes, that looks like a new form. Call them and tell you've never received the account access notice.

I hope you aren't paying this attorney because you are doing more work than they are! I hope you get it all figured out and like you mentioned, the online account hasn't been as helpful for many of us. Mine hasn't updated since August.

oh it was helpful on my opinion! At least we see update message for the interview because this message is most likely not visible if you look my case status online with the case #

I also hope when we have the interview date they will post the pdf notice and I will see the date earlier than I receive a hard copy.

I wish I hadnt paid her too..unfortunately they usually get paid in advance..I did search for a while for a good attorney but at the time that was the best I could find and I didnt want to appply on my own and take a chance of making mistakes:) I am just wondering if back then anyone knew what a mess the new forms created..if I had known I would definately used the old form.. I just hope it will not take too long for the interview and that I will not miss any notifications:) You mention yours hasnt updated since August, have you also applied on August? Wishing you all good luck and fast naturalization!

I just don't really understand what all that fuss is about. The whole process takes 5-6 months. We have to be patient and wait some time without updates. USCIS updates the account as long as there are updates and yes, it is better to have an account even though Elis is not perfect, than nothing at all. At least you know what's going on. For example my online status check doesn't show any updates since August, but my account shows the interview message. I would never have known about it without the account access.

Agree. We all know there is a wait when we first sign up. But it is frustrating to a point when those who filled out the old form get first class rush service. ;)

correct and to have fallen in to a new system that has not been fully incorporated and has bugs and delays is not at all helping. I am sure that if we all had known this before we had all filled out the older form and happily avoided this situation which is definately longer that the previous system. Also-With the previous system there were a lot of cases to track and know what to expect as well, additionaly for some of us the extra months of wait can make a big difference and impact our plans as well..so the frustration is definately understandable!

Called USCIS spoke to an L2 officer ... he stated the message meant that my field office which is Atlanta has my info and it's up to them now to issue the interview date... so I guess it not a glitch after all...

@Kutza

For what I've read on other forums and also experienced myself, this week ELIS has been crashing every other day, I would bet that it'll be back working tomorrow or Monday perhaps.

Keep on the positivity !!
