If we are reading this right, then that gives all of us here some excitement... fingers crossed we all find the end of our rainbows very soon. I'll let everyone know if we do in fact get a letter in the mail. I have submitted an email using their new "Help" section, where you can send a secure email. I wanted to make sure I was reading it right, and if so, make sure I didn't miss the letter in the mail. I'll also let you guys know if they answer.

Hey guys,

my account also says "USCIS has scheduled your interview appointment and will mail you the appointment notice" but I believe that is referring to my biometrics being scheduled back in August. On the right hand side, it says last update: 8/3/16 which was when my biometrics appointment was scheduled. Have you accounts been updated more recently? I really hope some interviews are being scheduled and it is not just weird nomenclature referring to our biometrics appointments.

That is what I was also wondering. The date is not changed. My apologies if this caused a false alarm! However, in the status (bottom left), it says that an interview appointment was scheduled... I am fairly sure it previously said biometrics appointment, but I can't remember. :(

It seems I have an absolutely different view of my account. I don't see when it was updated last. It doesn't say it. Only when they sent the last receipt.

above the dates when the receipts were sent, there is a "try it now" button that will take you to the new interface and that's where we're seeing the "interview scheduled" and the "last updated" info

I believe that the people that got the "Interview scheduled" are suffering from the "interview glitch" other people are experiencing. In which the status changes and time passes by but no confirmation mail is ever sent.

I would like to be wrong, but several people have reported this on the trackit forum, although there seems to be real scheduling happening for the Early JUNE filers ! , which hopefully means that we're just 3 months or so away from our own interviews ! ...

just my two cents

You are probably right, Kamex009. Stay the course... we'll get there eventually.

Just checked my update and saw this message - USCIS has scheduled your interview appointment and will mail you the appointment notice.

Decided to call and speak with Tier 1. The officer I spoke with as not able to respond and put me in touch with Tier2. Yes, it seems I have an interview appointment. ELIS system does not have a date nor was the officer able to give me one. Just said that I should get it shortly.

I am not holding my breath until I receive the interview letter. There is someone from the May pool that's from the Norfolk office that is still at the biometric stage. Not sure if they have not updated or they have not received interview notice yet,

Just got notification that supposedly an interview was scheduled for us as well. We are a very small field office... will see!

Our profile got locked (our fault! have requested our profile to be unlocked). so we can not get the letter online, so hopefully we get it soon in the mail....

This is what the update looked like today- before it spoke of our bio letter and the Aug 8th date.

Ok, we have an answer for the email we submitted using the "Help" tab in our account. It looks like a generic response:

Your application information has been entered into the system which schedules applicants for interviews at their local Field Office. Interview appointments are scheduled as slots become available at the Field Office. Once you have been scheduled for an appointment, you will receive an Interview Appointment Notice to appear at a certain date and time at your local Field Office. You must take the Interview Appointment Notice and photo ID to your appointment. Please review the Interview Appointment Notice for any other requirements.

Probably is the glitch, or, hopefully triggered by being sent to our local Field Office. Who knows?

@Tigerflower , not sure how fast you want to become naturalized, but read post #2282 here: http://www.trackitt.com/usa-discussion-forums/n400/1655760285/reciept-number-starting-with-ioe/page/92

If I had received the notification because of the glitch, I would have done the same thing as the guy from that post to try my luck and see what I got ...

@Kamex009, I've been following that, too. Only difference is, that person's status said his letter was mail out, mine says it will be mailed. In any case, we'll see what we can do. Maybe this is the new version of getting an in line date.
