I use the egov.uscis.gov. I created an account there and it lets me save my receipt numbers. It was always reliable with the notifications. I usually get like 3 notifications per update :) I don't know how to use myaccount. I tried e-filing my I-90 with it but it didn't work so well.

I have the exact same story.  Starting to think that cases at the tail end of their computer system period (they shut it down end of August) are the ones that ended in a black hole.  I can't even get an infopass meeting, no appointments available.  Please keep us post how your infopass goes.

Thanks,

Emil

To this date, still no change.  I had my info pass appointment and they said the same thing, it is waiting for an interview.  Never mind that it has been waiting for an interview since last year.  Per processing times dates, now I'm outside processing times (Aug 26, 2016).  But still no word from anybody.  If you filed in August and your application is stuck in Biometrics scheduled, you are not alone.  😟

My PD is August 23, 2016, must have been that week the system melted and our files with it....  What have you done so far, as far as trying to find out what the holdup is?  Mine still says "Biometrics Scheduled" like yours, and I can't even get confirmed if may background check is complete.  The official line I get is "case is in queue awaiting interview scheduling"  but that could mean anything, including file is lost and will never be found...

I have emailed through ELIS, received letter saying they would forward to Dallas field office.  Then received a letter from Dallas saying it was still pending and to give 60 days.  I also had INFOpass appointment where all I got was the exact same answer.  They did not say anything about background check being pending, they said it was awaiting appointment. They said that a request for interview had been submitted and they still were waiting on that. None of which makes sense if you ask me.

That is about what I expect from my infopass meeting, but feel I need to go through the motions.  What I can't understand, and no one seems to be able to explain, is why some of these cases linger for months "in queue."  I have a nagging suspicion of a system's glitch.

My wife's oath letter came today.  Her interview was on August 31 and they could not make a decision then.  They wanted more information to establish that we have a valid marriage.  We were disappointed, but provided about 90 additional pages of BS that show we share our lives with each other.  The local office received this on Sept. 18 and we received notice that she was approved that same day.  Her oath ceremony is next Wednesday, on Sept 27, it was real quick. But looking at the MSP Office, it is the last scheduled ceremony in 2017.  I wish those still waiting the best of luck.

I would just be happy to get an interview...  I am coming up on 13 months since my filing, and no notice.  I am sure there will be some wait for the oath as well.

So much for the 120 day rule, or is that just for the approval/deny after the interview?

Best of luck, you are almost there.

Allright guys I chose the right username. Just got out of my interview at the Mt Laurel office. The officer seemed friendly. I breezed through the civil and written test questions. Then she asked me the dreaded question."Have you taken any trips since the application". I have been waiting 13 months and I have exactly 13 trips since my application ! Lucky 13.  I handed the officer the formatted sheet of all the trips neatly organized. She started to enter them into the system, but about 5 or 6 trips in she said, this will take too long and she cannot make a decision today as she has to verify each trip in another system. I pleaded that I have  pregnant fiance back home and that's the reason I made the trips and to please try to accommodate me. She didn't want to budge as she said she had other appointments to take care of. (To me it seemed it would take her about 15 mins max to verify the information). She said it would take her a week or two to review these now and I would have to wait for a decision and oath. DANG. So many people got same day oath letters . Wish I was one of them. The fiasco continues. All the best to all waiting!

TLDR; Do not take a lot of  overseas trips after your application (I know this is already advised by lawyers, but I am unfortunately evidence of the fact)

I'm sorry that you have found yourself in this situation and your process is so lengthy. I hope everything will work out for the best! The same days ceremonies most of the time don't happen without a reason. Usually the field offices do it for certain applicants.

Wishing you the best of luck!

My status in ELIS was reversed.  For several months it showed "appointment scheduled" but it was not true.  So they finally corrected and went back to this.

Mine says the same thing, as of Sept 15.  Not sure what is said before, believe it was the same thing.  Had my InfoPass this Tuesday.  IO was friendly and all and said "she was going to take care of it" and have her manager call me the following day, i.e. yesterday.  Still waiting for that phone call....  Haven't given up that I may receive this call, but starting to wonder if she was just passifying me to get me out of the office as fast as she could....

Yep, all of the above.  Last attempt was an InfoPass this Tuesday... 5 hour drive.  Not sure it was worth it... still "in queue" and nothing new.  Getting a bit desperate...

Feel your pain sir. Did you also open a case with the CIS Ombudsman also ? I had done it and heard from them in about 40 days but by that time Interview was scheduled so they closed my file. (although I am now stuck waiting after the interview, luckily my congressional aide contact has been proactive in following up with me and is offering to help if I dont hear anything back in a week. Try to push on ur congressional contacts some more) .
