If you are the petitioner for her, using your own earned or retirement income (w2) and she is the only person immigrating then you can use the I-864 EZ it is much simpler to fill out than the I-864. I started out with the I-864 and then I was extremely happy when I realize that there was an easier one to used. Less pages and less confusing!

Yes i am the petitioner for her, is it ok to just use my tax transcripts although i file tax jointly with her mom?

Question I just choose and but wanted to know where it says AOS it has two N/A and also where it say civil document just out of curiosity what does that means...

The AOS hasn't been invoiced as yet. Seems like your case # was just assigned today. Give it until tomorrow to be invoiced.

The civil docs section is useless to us right now. They might use it in the near future for the docs to be scanned in instead of mailing. Just my thought ?

Yes thats quite fine. Have you looked at the I-864EZ on the uscis.gov website? There are 3 questions asked if you can say yes to all 3 then you're good to go. Edited by MrsBurgz

MrsBurgz thank you

You're welcome ?

Make sure to call NVC to review the DS-261. By doing that it unlocks the IV fee so you can pay it. If you didn't make the call It eventually would get unlocked after NVC reviews it on their own time (2weeks) but to speed things up (we all want to be done with this!) we do the calling to have it reviewed quicker. If you get someone that doesn't want to review over the phone just call back until you get someone nice enough to assist you.

MrsBurgz do you have to wait until they ask you to choose an agent..?

I thought you already choose the agent on the ceac website?

You posted this earlier:

"Question I just choose and but wanted to know where it says AOS it has two N/A and also where it say civil document just out of curiosity what does that means... "

Once the agent has been chosen you can call NVC to review the choice of agent.

Hi All,

Just wanted to ask out of curiosity, what is the requirement to be able to expedite the process? My case is still with NVC, 25 days since scan date. I'm planning to wait it out till its completed ; but if I can once done, request for an earlier interview date if that is possible?

Thank you :)

Hi I just did mine.. I emailed the NVC and request to expedite my case I'm doing IR2 for my 2 kids.. my reason is school, and were experiencing a lot of typhoon now in the Philippines and I haven't seen my kids for more than 3 years now.. After 3 days I received an email to NVC and they said the US Consulate in the Philippines accepted my request. After 2 days I received again an email from NVC stating they already send my case to consulate and if I do have questions regarding my interview processing I will call them. Now my case is ready on our consulate and waiting for the interview letter appointment hope this will help you..
