I know I'm really this --- >>>:cry::cry::cry: right now. Oh well, based on my record the NBI clearance was the last documents he sent out August 2 (my time since PI is a day ahead) But my goodness, August 16th? that is wayyyy toooo farrrrrrr from it.

The paralegal told me, we will have our interview this September (which I doubt) . I think he is just saying that to a peace my mind and just to get me off the phone :(

I'm really glad to have been part of VJ community as we are informed to what is really happening.

Well, to be honest I don't think you will get a September interview. You will get a case complete in September (assuming you don't have a checklist of course), but definitely not an interview. Late October or November seems to be more accurate. Keep your head up... we're all here to support each other :) And besides, an extra 2wks isn't bad. It could be worse... at least you're not delayed for 2 months, like my husband is

That's what I was thinking, assuming a case complete by September. Interview should be roughly October-November. I was guessing the paralegal just told me that to get me off the phone :crying:

Still hoping for the best! (keeps head high) (F)

I am sorry to hear that you got a checklist. I know you spoke to them on the phone but did they also send an email to notify you of the checklist and that your nib clearance was missing? Just getting a little worried our scan date was July 18th and several with scan dates after us are getting CC.

I called yesterday Wednesday 24th and they just said as before "I can't see if your file is being evaluated...I can only see when the scan date is and when your review is complete" He also said that it is taking about 6 weeks. Just still confused how others with scan dates after us are getting CC.

This waiting really sucks the separation from the wife sucks even more!

Please let me know if you received an email the same day that your got your checklist....thanks.

Same here! I am also July 18th and I'm starting to get really worried there is something wrong with what I sent because I haven't heard anything and many people after us have gotten CC.

Good luck to you!

If you are the petitioner for her, using your own earned or retirement income (w2) and she is the only person immigrating then you can use the I-864 EZ it is much simpler to fill out than the I-864. I started out with the I-864 and then I was extremely happy when I realize that there was an easier one to used. Less pages and less confusing!

I have same question. Planning for medical before one month.

From what I know is that medical reports are good for 6 months. So as long as all the other process is completed within time frame we should be fine. It will help if someone else can clarify that though.

Thank You

Harry did you get to know about the bio-metrics and medical yet?

No I haven't heard from anyone yet. I am going to call Mumbai Embassy and ask them directly on Monday.

I will post here whatever I find. I feel like it should be no issue though.

Did they tell you which date they scheduled your interview? I am just trying to figure out when we can except for interview letter.
