My scan date is july 8th

On august 6th I got the 3 N/As

BUT today i received an email with a CHECKLIST!!!

They want civil documents (nothing specified) and I-864 !!!

My husband already sent these documets...I am sooo tired of this.....

Hello, it turned out that it was a false checklist.

My husband called NVC today and they said that my case was completed :dancing:

They even told him my interview date and time - is that possible?

I haven't received any case complete email yet, my scan date is july 8th

Good luck to everyone!

Thank you!

How long did it take to receive the interview letter?

I got it the very next day after they scheduled an interview date. But it depends on the embassy. You should be getting it soon :)

Hi everyone,
Hope you guys are having a great time!
Currently i am facing a couple of problems, need your help:
1. Incorrect address my wife put in my wrong address at USCIS petition: House No. is right, Town is right, city is right, except the sector which should be A2 instead she wrote A, We didn't come to know of that mistake, unless i received that welcome letter from NVC. She plans not to call the NVC and wants to put in the right address in DS 261 form?? what should we do.
2. Middle name in DS 261: When I received my NVC welcome Letter on my e-mail address, it had the correct name when she filee my DS 261 she didn't use The Middle name, subsequently the e-mail i received didn't, have the middle name. What would you guys recommend? She said DS 260 will have my complete name so no need to worry as DS-260 is primarily the visa application..

I would like to ask if I have to complete DS-261 or DS-260 qnd what is the difference between them? The lawyer didn't ask me to fill any form like that I want also to ask if my wife should submit the I-876 with the papers to NVC or wait till they ask for it?

DS-261 is the choice of agent form. I believe when you have a lawyer, the agent is selected automatically and there's no need to fill out the DS-261 form. However, DS-260 is still required - it is the Immigrant Visa application and it becomes available after the AOS and IV fees have been paid. It will be filled online.

I'm not sure about the I-876 form.

Touchdown at 30th day... Hope to hear something from NVC today couse till monday it feels like forever...

I'm hoping for a CC today as well. At 32 days today, not sure how I'll survive the weekend if don't hear anything today!

I'm not sure about the I-876 form.

Thanks for your reply I think I-876 is the affidavit of support.

So maybe DS-260 will be filled down before the interview

Affidavit of support form is I-864.

DS-260 needs to be completed before they send your file to the embassy.
