    6/7/2016 Didn’t get case number so case went to supervisor look *****(new time frame is 2 weeks to get your case and invoice number form NVC.)

    6/9/2016 Case Number and Invoice number received

    6/10/2016 Form DS-261 Received

    6/10/2016 Form DS-261 Sent

    6/14/2016 AOS BILL INVOICED

    6/14/2016 AOS BILL PAID

    6/16/2016 IV BILL Assigned

    6/17/2016 IV BILL PAID

    6/17/2016 IV and AOS packet arrived at NVC

    6/17/2016 Scan Date

    6/20/2016 DS-260 SENT

    6/22/2016 Confirmation that they received the packet

did my interview today and they said they need a dna test to prove my father's relation to me,i was in shock why didn't they ask for this before.just when i thought i would be done with this long process it got longer.

does anyone knows how long it takes to do a dna test and get an interview date again?

It would be around 2 to 3 weeks because certified lab will gather all the info and they will send it to embassy.. it could be more it depend on how fast they do the lab work and send it.

Its the same website you paid your fees on.

What should it say? so you know

Ceac.state.gov > click DS-260 online Immigrant Visa >log in

If the Affidavit of support fee is showin N/A then that's an indication that it's case complete. Call to confirm.

What evidence did you show them between you and your father besides the birth certificate?

nothing just the usual info they asked for

Now you have me worried for my interview. We have pictures of them together, communication letters/videos and financial support copies. Please keep us informed on what happens with the DNA tests. Good luck and hopefully it'll be resolved soon.
