OMG!!! So excited. My husband's interview is scheduled for Oct 26 in Kingston!!! Yay! Sorry, if this wasn't the right forum link, I just got so excited. Dwheels, can you please update my info? Thank you!

Question.... I have interview scheduled in September in China. We signed up with CGI to get passport back after interview. The medical is scheduled. Is there any other things that have to been done? Is there any other fees? If so when are they paid? Is the biometrics the Medical exam or is that something different?,,Does anyone know how our packet got to China so fast. On the CEAC site is says ready that was only 1 week after CC, Was wondering if the email it there. If they do how did they get relationship picture evidence there.

07/11/2016:Submit DS-261

07/12/2016: Received DS-261 / AOS Bill

07/13/2016: Receive IV bill and paid IV bill

07/14/2016: Sent package IV package

07/15/2016: DS-260 released and completed

07/15/2016: Scan date

08/16/2016: Case Complete

08/18/2016: Received interview letter today interview scheduled for /09/28/2016

09/28/2016: Interviewed and approved !

10/01/2018: Filed I-751to remove conditions

10/09/2018: Received Text saying case received  ( Nebraska )

10/10/2018 Check cashed

11/19/2018: Received the 18 month extension letter in mail 

07/02/2019: Biometric Appointment.

09/09/2019: Received notice new card is being produced

09/16/2016: Received 10 year Green Card

Called NVC a minute ago to check if they have an interview date for me. CC yesterday -I know lol- They said they're scheduling for October. The consulates send them a number of how many cases they can do for that given month and the NVC schedule ppl on a first in first out basis. good luck everybody.

Bio-metric exam is different compared to medical exam at least for India. For India we are responsible to make an appointment for bio-metric before the interview.

Have you received an email for NVC with instruction? It might be included in that email.

You can schedule your Medical but you need to get the Immigration letter to take to the medical (well thats in my country )

People who are waiting for interview date to be scheduled at Mumbai embassy, did you try calling NVC today to see if you have your interview date? I know 2 people got their interview date, one with CC on 8/1 and second with CC on 8/18 (he expedited his request).

My CC is on 8/16 and I don't think I made it to the October batch. I have been calling twice a day and they keep saying I don't have interview date yet. They are still waiting for Mumbai embassy to give that info. If anyone else got the interview date around or after my CC date, please respond... I am losing my mind waiting... :crying: hanks,
