I just called NVC and ask about the interview date and they said we have just started scheduling for October so congratulations to the people who got their interviews in approvals and good luck With this month "main is still waiting "

I've seen some for October already goodness. I can't keep up.

Congratulations to all the September interview dates and now looks like October is starting for some.

To the new Case Completes to the group welcome. And t all the Approvals. Now you will be with your Hunny soon. Congratulations and Mercies journeys to you all.

Now here is a bit of information for those who are wondering the after the after Interview nd collection of Visa, POE than what.

Well more waiting.

After you have paid $165 green card fee after interview let me warn you They are taking upwards to 6 to 12 months to send green cards.
And what they are really saying below is if it hasn't been 120 days don't bother us. No you can't track. The Case status is broken for our cards (AOS folk yes you can track). So wait we must. Just concentrate on that Social Security Number.

"NOTE: Do not submit a e-request if you have just recently been approved, allow approximately 120 days to receive your new card. You can check the status of your case using the My Case Status Tool. If Case Status Online indicates that the card was mailed, you should be provided with a United States Postal Service tracking number."

Now for Social Security Number. Card normally arrives 4 to 7 days from the time you arrive in US. If after 7 to 10 days no card just go to your local SS office and fill out application they will check if you are in system and if not they will take your application. Usually within a week or 2 your card will arrive.

Hey! With my husband's experience he was at the embassy for 2 hours and had 5 minute interviews. The most of the time its just waiting in line or to be called.

But noone cancelled my tourist visa like there is no stamp. Did they forget because it's on my old passport or something ?

Mine was in old passport too.. And I specifically mentioned in my interview that I have a valid visit visa.. Then CO told me that they need to cancel it.. and I happily handovered :)

Even if they have not cancelled your with a stamp... It is considered invalid after issuing CR1 visa .. So don't worry

07 Oct 2016 ### Green Card Production started (Status changed in ELIS website) - Now I am pretty much sure after applying SSN green card production starts !!!

17 Oct 2016 ### Received in mail SSN and GC same day :)

Just called NVC and got interview date scheduled for 10/03/16. CC on 08/18/16. Now waiting for the interview email for instructions on how to obtain the medical exam and any other necessary information.

Praying for everyone with CC a quick interview date and congratulations to visa approvals.

I'm a US Citizen PD has no bearing on us. Also my husband is in US gt here in June took 10 months from I-130 filing to interview.

Category IR1/CR1. The majority on this thread are spousal visa category.
