My case - it was send out 3 days after i received the interview letter.

ID email - Aug 8

In transit - Aug 11

Ready - Aug 15

Interview date - Sept 20

Hey how do you know if it's ready? where can i check?

does a scar will affect or delay the result of your medical?(slec)

My husband has a scar on his elbow like 1.5 inches long. He got it when he was a kid (around 5-7 yrs old). He fell down and needed surgery and stitches.

I guess it doesn't matter. Cause i have operation scar but she didn't care except took a note of when i was being operated. Maybe the doctor will want to know how that happend. I also got a new long cut on my arm which is deep but doc didn't see at all.

Thank you for the kind words in response to my earlier post. The only way to really get through this is with a good sense of humor and laughter. I am glad to hear that you were able to see your hubby recently--it breaks the wait up tremendously.

In response to your questions above..they (most, if not all, embassies), begin scheduling towards the last few days of the month into the first week or so of the following month. I would only be making an assumption but I believe that they will start scheduling around the 29th of the August for October interview dates.

I have a question for you guys, My wife had her interview yesterday and was approved, Yay!, the officer said it would take about 3 days for visa to be ready however i checked the CEAC website and it already says issued...Your visa has been printed and will be mailed and available for pickup at the DHL office that you selected.

Does that mean its ready to be picked up or wait for it be be mailed? just wondering because it says will be mailed

I have quick question concerning affidavit of support if someone who has already been interview can help me. I submitted affidavit to NVC and the interview letter still ask to submit one at the interview. Should I fill out one and take to the interview because we are not yet in a new tax year?

I would say they are asking for the original of the I-864 (AOS) that you submitted to NVC ( they want the wet signature) and original tax transcripts & w2 for the current year (the ones you submitted to NVC)

Bring updated Federal income tax information to the interview. If a sponsor filed an I-864 (Affidavit of Support) and provided the NVC with proof of an IRS Federal income tax extension in lieu of a Federal income tax return, bring the sponsor's most recent Federal income tax return to the visa interview.

Do i need to fill out the I864 again?

I sent everything to nvc from joint sponsor's, household member's and my s2013-2015 Irs tax transcripts, w2's, recent pay stub, and 1040 forms last june 25 2016. Do i need to bring everything to the interview?

I wasn't told to bring anything to the interview but still I took original I-864 from my husband and father in law and I -864A of my mother in law with pay slips W2, 1040 and all their proof of relationships with SSN and passport copies everything. But if NVC particularly says so then you should take them to the interview.

I'm asking about the ds260 form because my paralegal gave me all documents and copies in an envelope. She gave me two DS260 confirmation pages stapled to the application of the ds260 so I guess I'll just give them the whole thing.
