Hey Dwheels!!! Been a long minute since I have logged in a posted anything. Busy..busy... However, I just wanted to let you and all others know (specifically those who have significant others arriving CONUS from Jamaica).

A little background...we were approved on 5/25/16. My husband arrived and did POE in ATL on 8/3/16. Process through immigration and CBP was fairly quick. He stated that "they" didn't ask too many questions. When I say they, he stated that he was being interviewed by a gentleman and a female officer walked up and looked at him and stated..."who married you" (jokingly). My husband, being the person that he is, simply replied..."someone who loves me very much." After that, the only issue was his checked bag. He waited for over an hour for the bag to come off the carrousel. After waiting so long the officer told him not to wait any longer to go to baggage claims to file a report. Once he finally came out, we headed over to the baggage claims office to file the report and low and behold...I walked right up on the bag. Mystery solved. I assume because he went straight to immigration and they bag was sitting there waiting, the removed it. Nonetheless, everything worked out and POE was smoothly.

On Saturday, 8/13/16--approximately 10 days after POE, his SSN card arrived and we are now just awaiting the greencard arrival. The only compliant thus far during this whole process from him is the HEAT in GA...we had 1 minor delay (RFE) early on during this process but we reacted swiftly and was able to get back on track. It was at that point that I decided to become a member, and no longer a stalker of the site, and with your guidance, along with several others (too many to name individually), it was smooth sailing from that point on. I know that this journey is not over but before we reach the next leg of it, I would sincerely like to thank you and all those who have assisted and encouraged us along the way. Through your site and process insight we are finally united!

Big-up to all my JA family too (L)(L) (L) (L) who kept this so very entertaining when the days were dragging like molasses on a cold winter day.:rofl: (you know who you are--if you happen to read this). Love you more than a slice of cake (well in my case, Garrett's popcorn)!!!!

**Oh, wait...1 special person--Frankjvr (Mr. FBI himself) xoxoxoxoxo

Congrats to all the people getting interviews! Did any more JA peeps get interviews for September? It's the middle of Aug, guess they'll start scheduling again during the last week? Is that how it works? Was wishfully thinking we would get lucky and get an interview date. I had an awesome visit with my husband and family this past week. So now we're back to the waiting game. Hoping for October interview??. Keep your stories coming! They keep me motivated and lifted!!!!

Thank you for the kind words in response to my earlier post. The only way to really get through this is with a good sense of humor and laughter. I am glad to hear that you were able to see your hubby recently--it breaks the wait up tremendously.

In response to your questions above..they (most, if not all, embassies), begin scheduling towards the last few days of the month into the first week or so of the following month. I would only be making an assumption but I believe that they will start scheduling around the 29th of the August for October interview dates.

Best wishes to you and yours on your journey.

Hey guys,

We received an email on Friday saying that my wife's interview was scheduled on September 22nd. My question to anyone who's familiar with this is, when will her package be shipped to Amsterdam and will I get any email stating that it has been shipped? Also, how can I track the package?

Thanks

why do you need to track the package, you don't need to do so, all you need to prepare for the interview September 22, there is one on your website will inform you weather it is shipped or not
