does anyone know the total cost for medical at Andrews memorial hospital jamaica. like how much money should i take in addition to the $15,000

The medical itself is $15875

Take an extra 15000 is what they told me. You won't spend more than 15000 more it depends on the vaccines you need. If you need all its gonna be 15000 if you dont need all then you spend less. They take debit and credit cards if you dont feel like walking around with all that cash. I got MMR and TDap and paid 6000 on top of the 15875.

It seems like you can email the embassy and ask for an interview appointment? Can you do that, when you get a CC at the NVC instead of waiting on till the NVC schedules on for you?

This process drived me mad but is coming to a end thank God. ???

and you got MMR and TDap and paid 6000 more?

what's that" i really don't understand" here in the middle east, the medical cost 140$ plus vaccination will be way lower than 140$

As far as I know you have to wait until the NVC schedules an interview. Afterwards you could email the embassy and ask whether it's possible to reschedule the interview. There's a template for this in the first post of this thread.

Oh Okey but they put $ sign there, or may be their currency is also called Dollar

I got curious and had to look it up: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jamaican_dollar

Turns out J$ is often used to avoid misunderstandings.

And 1 USD = 127 JMD (approximately).

I've counted over 15 different dollar currencies.

Question from those who are waiting for the interview Please

the NVC requested me in the interview letter that

Bring updated Federal income tax information to the interview. If a sponsor filed an I-864
(Affidavit of Support) and provided the NVC with proof of an IRS Federal income tax extension in
lieu of a Federal income tax return, bring the sponsor's most recent Federal income tax return to the
visa interview.
are you guy going to take for the interview the same Federal income tax information which you had sent to NVC or you will submit new updated Federal income tax information?
