When they have same CC's and a limited amount of slots they will go by your PD (NOA1) also. Did you have the same filing date also?

That makes more sense now. I think her filling date was 2 days early compared to me. Last month Mumbai started scheduling middle of the month hopefully they will do that again.

You are a ways away from an interview date. You have to wait first for your PD to become current they are just at 15SEP09 you are 16JAN25 so at least another 5 to 6 months for you to wait. Sorry.

You need to be watching the Visa Bulletin. It will start moving on October.

Also can you please change your profile to Cameroon.

Am a citizen. My cases are IR2 and IR5 I don't have to wait for visa to become current.

Dwheels thought you are a F-1 category because thats what is listed on your profile. You might want to update that.

So after our CC I get an email last night with a checklist. Called NVC and they said we do not have to send anything to them just bring our 2015 tax transcripts to the interview. Which I have and we will take them but I have included our taxes to the packets.

They stated that the I-864 from our joint sponsor is not complete/correctly filled out but we do not have to send anything to them???

Such a weird checklist freaked us out!

this is exactly they did to us too, they sent us email B-) while we were busy in celebration our CC and we when called to them they said we don't have send to them anything except 2015 tax IRS transcript schedule to bring it to the interview

I started to panic I was thinking now our whole process will take more time. The letter Cklist does not make sense at all. But thank God all is good.

@E & E: Don't worry about the CC checklist, we got the same, as they didn't find proof of citizenship for petitioner and joint sponsor to go with the AOS paperwork -.- Oh well, as long as it's just a matter of bringing the respective paperwork to the interview, it's all good!

India and Pakistan usually do like two rounds they start back up mid month sometimes. Summer time less slots cuz its tourist and stundet Visa season. So hang in there.

I'm just going by the information of your profile. You have F1. Since your a citizen then yes no wait for Visa number.

It's been more than a week since I got my case complete. How much longer do I have to wait for an interview letter?

Most interviews are scheduled during the last week of the month and sometimes the first week of the new month however if there are still available slots they'll continue scheduling.

Thanks BeckyMaria,

I haven't any mail to confirm that my case has been complete. However, I did call last week and it was confirmed over the phone. Will I be getting any email or regular mail to confirm that? If yes, how long does it take for me to get that? I am just trying to prepare for the next step.

Thanks
