I got my Packet 4 today but no official 'letter' yet. I'll wait a week and if I don't get anything I'll be calling up NVC

Called NVC this morning....we still haven't received letter but they were able to tell me my appointment had been scheduled yesterday for 9/27/16 @ 8:45 a.m. Very excited for my husband, we've been waiting for this forever!!!! It does seem like they are taking long to schedule appointment for Ciudad Juarez, NVC closed our case on 7/12/2016...it will be about 2.5 months before our appointment. I guess at the end that doesn't matter any more....just very thankful to God that this is almost over.

If your case warrants a look see of course they may check it out. Some a deeper than theirs.

How? It's not that hard. Most of us gave evidence of facebook chats our posts there our info right there.

Haven't been on in forever (was at a beach house chilling until my POE). My POE was done at Ft Lauderdale Intl Airport on Aug 6 and my kids and I were outta there in 15min. Finally got them registered for school today as well

Thanks Dwheels76 for keeping up with the spreadsheet. It was quite helpful for me to estimate the NVC process. As for the Vietnam flag, like many other Vietnamese overseas, I chose not to associate with the flag of the oppressive and corrupted communist regime.

Omg case completed on July 27 but still no interview date yet. Anyone here waiting for an interview date from Cameroon like me.God is at work, Fingers crossed.

You are a ways away from an interview date. You have to wait first for your PD to become current they are just at 15SEP09 you are 16JAN25 so at least another 5 to 6 months for you to wait. Sorry.

You need to be watching the Visa Bulletin. It will start moving on October.

Feels magical right now!!

We got our case complete email way back in April, but after 3 months of waiting, still didn't get scheduled for an interview. We called and emailed a lot, all we were told was "The Chinese Embassy is extremely busy, Nothing is wrong, your case is complete and in queue for interview, blah blah". And today I woke up with an email for interview on Sept. 6th!!!! Only less than a month to go!!! I just book my medical for tomorrow, soooo excited!!

Hey Everyone

i have some Q please from interview waiting people

1. do you guys are doing vaccination if YEs , so which kind of vaccination is needed and medical exam too?

2. here in Saudi Arabia on US embassy Riyadh website written that documents which the interview letter mentions you have to mail them by Express (Recommend SMSA Courier Express mail)

I don't know you have to give the documents face to face to interview officer or you will mail them

So after our CC I get an email last night with a checklist. Called NVC and they said we do not have to send anything to them just bring our 2015 tax transcripts to the interview. Which I have and we will take them but I have included our taxes to the packets.

They stated that the I864 from our joint sponsor is not complete/correctly filled out but we do not have to send anything to them???

Such a weird checklist freaked us out!
