    6/7/2016 Didn’t get case number so case went to supervisor look *****(new time frame is 2 weeks to get your case and invoice number form NVC.)

    6/14/2016 AOS BILL INVOICED

Good question. I believe they do not schedule unless your PD is current. I am not sure though.

Good question. I believe they do not schedule unless your PD is current. I am not sure though.

Your PD doesn't really matter when the visa category is IR-1/CR-1... the PD is only important for those who are LPR petitioning their spouse/family member. They schedule you depending on when you got your CC :)

Good to know ??. I just got my CC email earlier...

That's great :) Now you just gotta wait for an interview date... more waiting :clock: I wish I could tell you how long you will have to wait but the truth is I don't have a clue, lol. NVC schedules interviews based on openings in the embassy's schedule... if they haven't filled up September yet you'll get an interview date soon; if they have, you might have to wait until they schedule for October, which is at the end of this month.

Hi All,

I hope everyone is doing great! Hubby had his interview on the 2nd and the CO told him everything is fine and they will call him to come pick up his passport. so the case says AP on CEAC. yesterday I check and it seems like they touched the case, however it still in AP this morning. I'm kind of worried now. How long do cases stay in AP if everything was fine at the interview?

You can always call NVC and ask if they are still scheduling. When you do, be sepcific to your case, "Have you or started scheduling CR1 interviews for the Mumbai consulate?" or " are you still scheduling CR1 interviews for the Mumbai consulate?" if you call and just ask if they are still scheuduling, they may say yes, but they in reality be done scheduling for some consulates yet stills scheduling for others. Good luck!
