Does UK Marriage Certificate need to be authenticated for the US?

My fiance is a British Citizen and I am the USC.

I've obtained a Marriage Visitor Visa and will be getting married there on 9/3/2016.

Is anyone aware of any other procedures we should be following to validate the marriage certificate here in the US, either by the US consulate in the UK or in the US in terms of registering it somewhere?

No nothing needs to be done. Just submit the cert with everything else when you file. (a copy will do to file you can bring the original to interview)

Thanks for the response.

Was thinking there may be a need after the visa process to register the marriage in the US since the US travel website stated the following with regards to validity: "If you get married abroad and need to know if your marriage will be recognized in the United States and what documentation may be needed, contact the office of the Attorney General of your state of residence in the United States. "

I believe UK certs are recognized in the US but wanted to confirm so thanks again!
