CASE COMPLETE in just 9 days!!

I just called the NVC and they have completed my case. The guy told me that it will take about 2 weeks to mail it as it has to go through customs and then Indian embassy will receive it..

Any ideas, on when do you guys think I will get the interview?

I am new here buddy but i wish u best of luck as mine is not yet approved. I think it takes about another 2 month from NVC to New delhi Once u get New delhi case number assigned then u get letter I know because my friend has done same thing. Its amazing how you got lucky and in 6 months you have your case approved congratulations I hope you get together with your beloved wife sooner and life happly for rest of your life.

First of all, congratulations! I am puzzled though on how it is possible to get the IR-1/CR-1 application process done in such a short time. I have been memorizing Jame's shortcuts and just the mail will take longer than that, and then you have to wait till they generate things which happens on mondays?! Just a little confused, but we are thrilled for you and wish you all the best luck and continued fast times in the rest of your journey!!!!!

Just to give you an idea of a similar timeline (even though we are opting to go K3 then adjusting status) NVC forwarded our case to the Mumbai Embassy (which by the way was the WRONG embassy) on Feb 27. By March 15 it had arrived at the correct Embassy-New Delhi. Hubby received Packet 3 April 2nd. It generally does not take that long but he was out of town and missed the delivery and had to pick it up in person from the New Delhi Embassy. We are now awaiting the scheduling of the interview and the the arrival of packet four which he was told would take up to 10 business days to receive.
