Unable to edit the I-864 online - what to do?

Hi everyone I'm filling up the I-864 and i was having a hard time editing the field for the Sponsor's household size which I can't seem to change plus the font is big in red. Is the above font okay?

Download it and make sure you're using Acrobat Reader. You can download Acrobat Reader for free. In Acrobat Reader, it will add the fields for you and fill in number 8 automatically.

Are the bar codes at the top and bottom of each page visible? If you can see bar codes all the way across each page, you know it's working right.

That's what the whole page looks like. I'm still unable to edit the household size even after I've downloaded the Acrobat Reader. Would it be alright if I just filled that part in with a black pen?

I had so much trouble with this, too, when I was working on the I-864. What I had to do was download the form again, and then ONLY open it in Acrobat Reader. If you're using an Apple computer, for example, don't open it in Preview for even a minute. Then (hopefully) the big barcodes will appear at the bottom and the text will work correctly. So download a whole new I-864 from the website, open it Acrobat Reader, and save it with a new name so it doesn't get mixed up with the old form.
