i should be filling the I-129f next week after i get the g-325a signature and letter of intent from my gf in Mexico. Everything is ready to go on my behalf but now that I think about it, will they be suspicious when they know that she's 31 and I'm 25? (L)

She doesnt look that age. Actually I look older but in reality shes 6 yrs older than me. Will this be a factor down the road?

absolutely not.........few months ago i posted a topic in off topic asking people about their age difference and found out a lot of things that were surprising to me. Seems like most of the women who are petitioners are older than their fiance.

There is a vast age difference between my fiance and myself. If anything, it will draw a red flag and we will deal with that IF it comes up . The difference in your ages should not be a problem , as others have stated.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

I agree with everyone else.

In addition to their comments - your age difference is not that great.

I know there was a girl at the interview on the same day as us who said she was interviewed for awhile because her fiance is much older than her. But they had a lot of proof of relationship.

They were approved too!

A 6 year age difference? That is nothing. I am 55 my fiance is 29. Before I started this process I inquired about the age difference. All is good as long as you have proof that it is not fraud. I think there are many folks with a large age difference. I know of several that got hooked up thru a marriage agency that have a large difference in age and they have recieved their visa.

I got you beat by a country mile Buck.

They are not allowed to deny a visa over the age difference. Expect a tougher interview and more chance of an Administrative Review somewhere along the line. They just check closer for fraud. You don't have a noticable age difference and it is no big deal when the woman is older than the man.

12/14/2006 Applied for K-1 with request for Waver for Multiple filings within 2 years.
Waiting - Waiting - Waiting
3/6 Called NVC file sent to Washington for "Administrative Review" Told to call back every few weeks. 7/6 Called NVC, A/R is finished, case on way to Moscow. YAHOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
7/13 On Friday the 13th we see updated Moscow website with our interview on 9/11 (Hope we are not supersticious) 9/11 Visa Approved. Yahoo.
10/12 Tickets for her to America. I am flying to JFK to meet her there. 12/15/07 We are married. One year and a day after filling original K-1
12/27 Filed for AOS, EAD & AP 1/3 Received all three NOA-1's 1/22 Biometrics 2/27 EAD & AP received 4/12 Interview
5/19/08 RFE for physical that she should not have needed. 5/28 New physical ($ 250.00 wasted) 6/23 Green Card received
4/22/10 Filed for Removal of Contitions. 6/25 10 Year Green Card received Nov, 2014 Citizenship ceremony. Our journey is complete.

Age might cause administrative review?

I think if the man is older than the woman, it's not looked at twice.

I'm 10 years older than my fiance, and he was asked at his interview if he knew he was marrying someone MUCH older than he is, and if he had a problem with it. If I were a man and 10 years older, I'm quite sure the question wouldn't have been asked.

I have no doubts you are right. In my case we have a large age gap and it is the second k-1 with differnt fiancees for both of us. I guess we were an A/R waiting to happen.
