I don;t understand what you are asking. Are you approved for a visa, and believe your passport, with visa in it, is at a DHL center and you want to go there yourself rather than having them send it out?

Someone from your home country will answer your question I am sure. All I know is that a visa usually gives you 6 months to enter the United States before it expires. Look at the dates on the visa itself. If you need more than 6 months try to talk to someone at the embassy. Do not destroy the visa. If it expires you will have to have a whole new petition filed for you and pay all the fees again.

I don't quite understand what is happening with you. I never heard of the visa not being put inside of a passport. I do know that they will issue visas with only a month left on the medical.....Do yu live near the dhl office. If you do then be there when they open and ask for your passport back. There shouldn't be a problem if you bring proof of who you are but you need to be there when they open.
