Can't believe how CSC was so much more ahead of VSC when I filed in November 2016 and now it is behind. Maybe they can do some sort of load balancing. 

10 days before July is like 2 months for CSC unfortunately, we can only hope CSC pulls themselves together and start processing in a normal fashion.

Just wanted to share my experience getting the i551 stamp... Like many have said seems like it is very much a luck thing.

 

I had an infopass appt. this morning (my extension expires at the end of October) and the officer quickly looked and said "we are backed up and still have your case pending... but since you are within the 90 days prior to expiration, I'm going to go ahead and stamp your passport extending it for another year" without me even bringing it up! Within 5 minutes she called me back up and gave me my stamped passport.

Hello all!

 

Anyone knows how long should one wait for permament Green Card ? we sent all the documents along with I-751 form last August 2016 and still no word about new Green Card.  Whats approximate time of waiting if sent to California service center last august 2016?

They're still working on petitions from late June. Hang in there -- could be several months still, at their current (slow slow) pace.

Anyone else wishing they lived on the East Coast?

Finally received my 10 yr greencard yesterday. 08/17/2017. the online status still shows we have mailed the card on august 14th 2017. There were no tracking or usps information available. it took three days to receive the card physically once the information was updated about it being mailed out on uscis track my case status. Now onwards to N400 journey.

Hang in there, you will get where I get eventually. We have been waiting for 1 year and 10 days. Honestly I think they will get to July pile by later October. It all depends on the next few months to see if CSC will finally pick up some normal speed. My guess is I will hear from them either by the end of this year or next Feb. We filed last August 8th.

Hi guys,

 

We filed for removal of conditions at the end of August 2016, like all of you, we are still waiting. When should we think about making an info pass appointment? The extension letter is dated 8/31/2016 but his GC expired on 11/25/16. I just looked at the online infopass scheduler and it says there are no available appointments in the next 2 weeks for our location, check again tomorrow. I'm thinking I will need to check daily until an appointment opens up, so should I try to schedule as soon as something opens up? Or should we wait until closer to Nov.? Thank you for your help in this matter.
