We don't have joint health or dental insurance because we both work so we get separate insurance from our employers.

I'd maybe write up a small note explaining this. Plenty of people maintain separate insurance so it's not anything to sweat, but it's a common enough piece of evidence that I think it's worth mentioning.

I sent my packaged on August 1 to California Service Center. They received it on August 3. It has been more than 2 weeks and I still haven't received NOA. Is it normal? I'm kinda worried. :(

mine been a week and some days now, did they cash your check yet? my check was cashed the next day after my packaged was delivered.

I sent a personal check, but i think there is a way you can check the status on a cashiers check, you have to call the bank where you purchased the cashiers check.

It could be that you live in Florida so it takes time to send a letter by mail from California? :clock:

Same situation as me. Sent it on the first. They received it on the 3rd and still no NOA.

I wonder if many USCIS employees are on summer vacation? :no: I hope things pick up after Labor Day! :star:
