Congrats to the Aug VSC filers who got approved!  :dance:   

 

VSC may finish processing the majority of the Aug filers in 1-3 weeks!  :thumbs:

 

Unfortunately, CSC is two months behind of VSC since they're still processing June filers!  :bonk:

Mine was received by uscis California service center on august 25, 2016 and I haven't received any update. I called them few weeks ago and they said that they processing June 2016 filers. It look like 2 more month for our case to be processed.

It seems VSC is still working through July 2016 as well while they are plowing through August? What goes on at USCIS is totally bizarre...

I'm the USC petitioner. My wife is British (now a USC!!!), generally awesome, and amazingly patient.

Sounds cliched, but why don't you want to vote?? Paying taxes is just part of it, voting actually means you go further and fulfill your duty to get involved in political process. Every vote counts, and politics affect all of us. Also, if you become a citizen, they can't revoke your citizenship, but if you are A green card holder, they call still deport you and take your green card away if you commute a crime or get into legal trouble, not saying you want to get into trouble, but why not become a citizen if one wants to live here permanently??

VSC may finish processing the majority of the Aug filers in 1-3 weeks!  :thumbs:

 

Unfortunately, CSC is two months behind of VSC since they're still processing June filers!  :bonk:

I think they won't touch the August filers until December or November...

If you decide to live here permenantly and refuse to become a citizen, meaning you refuse to engage in political process, that is being opportunistic. To say "I pay taxes" is not enough to justify that "refusal" of becoming a citizen. That is actually unAmerican, shallow, and actually quite selfish. Without getting into politics, Trump appointed a few key individuals who have a history of anti immigration to run the USCIS, and if there were new voters who engaged and were willing to participate in political process, Hillary might have won a few more swing states because if she just won one or two more votes in each precinct, she would have won and we probably would not have anti immigrant hacks running the USCIS and could potentially harm and stall the process of legal immigration, and we would not have Trump. The point is politics affect all of us. If you love this country enough to apply for a green card, then why the reluctance to be naturalized? Not saying the people who refuse to become citizens are trying to milk the system, but the refusal of it makes it fundemtally selfish and it speaks volume of their true intention, enjoying what this country has to offer, freedom, opportunity without wanting to contribute by getting involved in a political process. Plain and simple, spin all you want and I am sorry it is not going to fly by just saying "I pay taxes, that is enough". I personally think it should be mandatory if you are here as a PR for a number of years, then you should show loyalty to this country, but that is my personal politics. I think people who just want to green cards and who just "refuse" to become citizens are wrong and that refusal is insulting to the American spirit. It is that refusal that bugs me, no excuse for that. Glad you are intended to become a citizen, good for you, but if one loves this country m, then he or she should become citizen and get engaged in democracy.

I just got my Passport stamped yesterday for one year and I got to keep my green card. 

 

Officer didn't give me much information but said that the I-751s are taking a little longer...

 

I am also CSC filler and don't think we are going to hear anything soon. My NOA was of 8/2/2016 and my GC exp 9/30/16.

Same here. They will probably start touching July filers by October, I am filing my 400 in less than 2 weeks.

Got some good news today, my approval letter was in the mail. Date of decision was 7/17/17, I moved so the post office had to forward. No updates online, no gc yet.

8/9/13 Got married.
8/25/14 Filed I-130, I-485, I-765
8/26/14 Delivered to Chicago lock box,singed by JC day 1
8/29/14 Checks cashed/Received email/text NOA day 4
9/4/14 Received hard copies of NOA1 day 10
9/11/14 Received Biometrics appointment letter day 17
9/25/14 Biometrics appointment not done due to ASC facility closure day 31
9/26/14 Biometrics done day 32
10/7/14 I-485 notification, moved to Testing and Interview day 42
10/10/14 I-765 EAD moved to production day 45
