If you have applied for citizenship and you don't get your 10-year Green Card (meanwhile, others get theirs), you can assume USCIS has combined your I-751 and N-400 applications together.    

 

We'll get more info in the next 30 days as we monitor the June filers who have applied for both I-751 and N-400.

If I decide to apply for citizenship next month and USCIS combines my I-751 and N-400 applications, I won't find out about anything until my citizenship application gets approved around April, 2018.  

I think info pass might tell us if they are combined, but have to wait till the case is outside the processing time. And yes, we will find out more from June filers who filed both.

Congrats. Another VSC approval, another day, wow, they are processing August filers while CSC is processing mid June filers SLOWLY.

Is funny you mentioned that.. I was looking at uscis webpage regarding workload transfers, and over 60% of the transfers were from other centers to CSC. And that is this year alone, not considering other transfers that took place last year (most of which, of course, coming to CSC, instead of leaving). Last June there was a major transfer to CSC (H1B extensions), despite the insane delays that were already taking place.

I wonder what is the criteria they actually use to transfer the cases... it surely doesnt seem to be to balance anything.

Hopefully, yes.

I remember, back in Feb/March, people were thinking that CSC was 'waiting' for VSC to catch up, after which things would return to "normal"..

Now, VSC has not only caught up but surpassed CSC (seems like they are processing August/16), and here we are again wishiful thinking that after VSC July filers are done things will go back to track.

I just browsed the "I-751 May 2016 Filers" and "I-751 June 2016 Filers" threads.  

 

It looks like CSC skipped a May filer (5/20) who applied for N-400.  CSC also skipped another June filer (6/6) who applied for N-400.  VSC skipped a June filer (6/9) who applied for N-400.  

 

It looks like there is a good chance that USCIS will combine your I-751 and N-400 applications.

I am afraid that sounds pretty much what will happen.. I'm September 2106 filer and still no updates on the case.. Judging by the slow process and the delays, it sounds optimistic if we heard back around December!

Went in an info pass today at STL field office. The officer said that the NOA extends the GC expiration date for 1 more year. The officer also explained that the NOA date isn't the GC expiration date. One person before me got a stamp for another year, who have filed on July. I was excited that I was also gonna get a stamp, but didn't happen. So frustrated, Hopes are up though.
