I agree with Austincanada. I have no lawyer, but I think it is question of rights. If you legally comply with the 3-year period to gain citizenship, why do we have to wait longer because of USCIS inco

Hello, I received my bio letter this week for the N-400. They scheduled it for 08/03. I also scheduled an Infopass on that same day to get my stamp (extension letter expires on 08/31). I figured I'd take the day off work to get both things done the same day :yes:

I-751 August 2016 filer. 10-year Green card received on Aug 2017.

N-400 (Naturalization) July 2017 filer. Oath Ceremony: November 2nd 2017.

Details below.

 

NATURALIZATION (N-400):

Sent application to Lewisville, TX on 07/03/2017. Case received and check cashed on 07/11/2017. Biometrics: 08/03/2017. In Line for Interview: 09/05/2017. Interview scheduled: 09/18/17 (notice received 09/21/17). Interview date: 10/23/2017. Oath date: 11/02/2017. Passport received: 11/20/2017.

 

REMOVING OF CONDITIONS (I-751):

Vermont Service Center received package on Aug 18th 2016.

NOA 1 date: Aug 19th 2016 (received letter on Aug 24)

Biometrics date: Sept 23rd 2016

Approval Notice: Jul 24th 2017

Green Card Received: Aug 4th 2017

Don't forget the place you get the stamp on your passport is not the same place application support center.

You can make how many times infopass you want; it's not meaning 3 times or up..!

Thanks for the reminder!! I did notice though. They actually closed the Application Support Center in Boston and moved to a suburban town :o

My two appointments are 3 hours apart :yes:

VSC continues to approve their 751 applicants rapidly as CSC moves slowly. My hunch is we will probably have to wait till September or October for CSC just to get to July filers...and they will get to August filers next Feb....so August filers, not guts no glory, we will be approved by next Oscars..

Remember CSC wasn't sending Biometrics appointment letters for a while?  :no:

 

Then, CSC sent the letters to July, Aug, and Sept filers so we all had our Biometrics appointments around the same time.  :wow:

 

I hope something like that happens in the next 30 days.  :dancing:  CSC suddenly approves lots of us at the same time!  :star:

I am so frustrated now. Almost 100 percent of the approvals are all from VSC. Whenever someone posts his or her approval. You don't even have to ask or check where they filed to...it is always Vermont freaking Center. I gotta shift my focus. My patience is wearing thin, but the worst part is there is nothing I can do. But I just have to keep thinking about that CSC 6 day movement, it is moving at least I guess..

I just thought of a possible scenario. VSC is now approving their July filers, maybe they will stall after they finish their July filers, and it will be CSC's turn for a change, so maybe we will see some normal movement for CSC starting sometimes in mid August.

Some of the Aug filers at VSC have been approved too!  :dancing:  I'm not sure when CSC will approve Aug filers.  :cry:

 

If I decide to apply for citizenship next month and USCIS combines my I-751 and N-400 applications, I won't find out about anything until my citizenship application gets approved around April, 2018.  :bonk:
