Thanks for letting me so,so the agent could have me panicking all for nothing..I just wish there was away to check I751 processing time for NSC but since they don't normally adjudicate them there's no way to check.I am just hoping I will get my approval soon.

I agree with Austincanada. I have no lawyer, but I think it is question of rights. If you legally comply with the 3-year period to gain citizenship, why do we have to wait longer because of USCIS inco

So I had my infopass appointment Monday morning. I found the immigration agent to be not that dissimilar to a robot, not making eye contact and keeping answers to a yes or no. She didn't explain what the process was but from listening to all the other agents, it seemed like most people were there for the i-551 stamp too. My agent, took my passport and went in the back with it for several minutes, which made me a little nervous. Later she came out and stamped my passport. She told me that my file is at the CSC, I told her I was informed it was filed to VCS, so was it moved? She couldn't tell me, but my heart sank to be honest. She also told me that my stamp is only valid in a passport with longer than one year till expiration, mine expires Oct 2018, she told me to come back when I have a new passport, I told her I was holding out that the processing of my case wouldn't take that long, and she told me "just get a new passport". So getting back to the waiting game, better update my status to CSC... sigh... <_<

Sounds like your in similar situation to me.My agent did messed up the stamp and had to make jottings and then reseal it.Hopefully it won't be an issue when I have to present it to DMV. did you receive anything in the mail about your file being transferred to CSC?

I wasn't told anything about my file being transferred, my lawyer didn't even know, there were no updates on my account with USCIS website either, so God knows... 

I'm filing alone as a divorcee so I expect things to 1. take longer, and 2. not be straightforward. I was just hoping with it originally being VCS that it all might happen a little quicker, even if that means going for an interview, I just want to get it over with tbh.

If I didn't go in for the I551 stamp I wouldn't have known that my file is in Nebraska service center.The agent didn't say it was transferred either and she said  that she don't know why it's there cause NSC don't adjudicate I751 which makes me worried.I wish it was sent to CSC even though they are behind but at lease I would know it's gonna get adjudicate and I could check processing times for it.NSC don't adjudicate I751 so there's no way for me to check processing times.so am just gonna be waiting and waiting and waiting and don't know what's going on.Like you am dying to get this process over with.I can't wait for the day I no longer have to deal with immigration (USCIS and all these service centers).Being that yours were transferred to CSC maybe you will soon get a notice in the mail or you lawyer can do an inquiry.

lol..that's funny

my agent stamp was wrong cause she stamp me for something else..so she did some writing and explaining on it and then stamp again (reseal it).

in the back of my mind,am like seriously.I even suggested to her to do just do it on a different page since i ain't travelling but she's didn't do it.so incompetent.

Thanks for the add. Going to get my passport stamped Monday morning. My guess is we might have to wait for another 6 months. So by next Oscars, we might be approved,lol
