Funny how we (CSC) have been conditioned with such low expectations for so many months that less than a week's progress since the last monthly update is relatively good news to us now!! :D

Yes, it is funny,lol

We have a new processing times update today. Now they are processing June 15th from last year, so it has moved nearly a week worth of loads since last update. At least it is moving, I guess it is not bad news.

So would I be correct ion applying this formula to make a guesstimate of the processing time?

The time frame of applications worked on (e.g. 1 week) within the timeframe in between the two updates (e.g. 1 month), then compare this to the date of the applications currently working on in relation to the date of my application?

If that's the case, I'd say we are looking at late September, maybe October?

I thought if it moved in this rate, one week per month, than for August filers, it would be another 6 months?

Everytime I want to file a service request for form I-751. It says this....

"You must select the Form Number associated to your Receipt Number. The Form Number you selected does not match our records for that Receipt Number."

I used this receipt number

"On August 3, 2016, we received your Form CRI-89, Petition to Remove Conditions of Permanent Resident Status Received, Receipt Number #########"

Anyone knows what's going on?

I-751 (Removal of Conditions)

[08/03/16] Package delivered to USCIS (California Service Center)

[07/30/18] Combo I-751/N-400 interview

[07/30/18] APPROVED AT COMBO I-751/N-400 INTERVIEW

N-400 (Naturalization) with pending I-751 (Removal of Conditions)

[07/31/17] Package sent to USCIS (NBC)

I think the outside normal processing time is 1 year, you can call them after 8/1

I think it has nothing to do with that though. It even gives me the same message when I tried to change my address. I think the receipt number for I-751 and CRI-89 are different.. and there is no option to choose CRI-89 form.

About I-751. I saw on July topic, that someone filed a service request and he/she got a message that says that the decision will be made in xx days. I was going to give it a try.

I was told by an USCIS immigration officer to wait for at least a year after the filing. They mostly likely will tell you your case is still falling into the normal processing time, but you got nothing to lose to try.

I finally got my Mexican passport after a failed attempt two years ago when I started the process of adjusting status. They argued that I could not use my married name (my us citizen spouse's last name) because that would be different from my Mexican birth certificate, schools documents, voting ID, etc. So I had to present an expired passport in my package and AOS interview thankfully with no problem.  Now that my extension letter is coming to its expiration date next month, I gave it another try but this time with my maiden named and I had no problems even when I answered I am married.

Now I have a freshly issued passport to present to my INFOpass a week from today to get my stamp. I am currently a college student and I am also about to start a new full time job with awesome benefits and I will bring the job offer letter to make sure I won't be denied the stamp.

I went to my infopass appointment today. They took my state ID,passport, extension letter and green card, all were returned to me at the end and I got my I551 stamp. Anyhow I was told by the agent that my I751 is in Nebraska. She told me that Nebraska don't adjudicate I751 so she don't know why it is there. She cannot see if security clearance was done or anything being done to it.I know when I file my I751 I sent it directly to vermont service center so I don't know how my file ended up in Nebraska. The agent said she will do some research and If she finds any information she will contact me,But I highly doubt she will look into it.This was not the news I was hoping to hear.I'm in panic mode and don't even know how to proceed.Does anyone know if VSC would transfer workload to NSC?any feedbacks?
