Remember that while a person on the phone at USCIS  will tell you that June 7th is as of today, the webpage itself says that those dates were current as of February 28th.  So a month and a half out of date already. There have been approvals post June 7th (even one in July) even among the tiny sample of VisaJourney filers. I'm thinking CSC filers will probably be approved sometime in June.

The reason they post times that are already out of date is so that we can't make a whole load of service inquiries (which would put them even further behind).

Remember a couple of weeks ago when someone posted a link to an article about H1B visas? There was a bumper crop of them this year, since 45 may cancel them next year. USCIS brings in extra temp staff to process them,  but the CSC regular staff probably spent most of their time in late 2016/early 2017 doing the prep for it... which, not coincidentally, is the time when CSC seems to have ground to a halt. They're speeding up again now that the temps are in place.

It's totally fine to set your expectations low so that you won't be disappointed, but overall the times for CSC are staying steady at about 9-10 months. Which sucks, but most of us won't need to get a stamp, I think.

Yeah, I totally missed the 2/28. If we are approved around June, that just confirms that 10 to 11 month wait for July and August filers. If that is the case, we are almost there. Thanks for the info.

We're moving out of state this summer, so that means we'll have to wait until we've lived in the new state for 3 months before we can file N400. But it'll be nice to be not thinking and worrying about USCIS for awhile. Trying to stay positive. Sigh.

I have known my spouse for 20 years. Gays could not get federal recognition through marriage until 2013, and gay marriage was federally legalized in 2015. My spouse is twice as old as me, so I want him to see me beome a citizen, so I can't waste time but applying for 400 right away after the approval. I am so excited and tired of waiting, but we are almost there.

My questions is all applications are eventually processed at the field offices or CSC in general? So maybe the June 7 date is not really aligned with real where they are at now, it all depends on the field offices? Is that what you meant?

Thanks for the reply. Good luck and let's keep each other updated. We need to get this over with asap, especially we don't know what Trump will do.

You file in November last year, hang in there. Time will fly by past, been waiting for 8.5 months. You will get there eventually.

We've been waiting years and years to see our relationships recognized (including having to leave the country for three years because of lack of legal status). We can be incredibly patient, especially when the finish line is basically right in front of us!

Exactly, I had a student visa for over a decade, not knowing what the immigration future would be, I tried hard to stay in status just to be with my man, and finally Supreme Court changed our lives forever, and my man now is already 88 and I met him 20 years ago. I want my man to see me become a citizen before it is too late, fingers crossed for all of us.
