Have anyone received anything regarding biometrics?

I got mine yesterday, scheduled for October 7. (CSC)

I-751 (Removal of Conditions)

[08/03/16] Package delivered to USCIS (California Service Center)

[08/05/16] NOA (never received, lost in the mail)

[09/15/16] NOA replacement

[10/07/16] Biometrics (early walk-in on 09/27/16)

[05/07/18] Case transferred to NBC

[06/25/18] Interview was scheduled

[07/30/18] Combo I-751/N-400 interview

[07/30/18] APPROVED AT COMBO I-751/N-400 INTERVIEW

 

N-400 (Naturalization) with pending I-751 (Removal of Conditions)

[07/31/17] Package sent to USCIS (NBC)

[08/07/17] NOA

[08/31/17] Biometrics

[12/20/17] In line for interview

[06/25/18] Interview was scheduled

Date on Receipt/NOA1: 08/05/2016, but received the actual mail on 08/09/2016

Check cashed: 08/09/2016

I'm still waiting on biometrics. I called on 09/21/2016 and didn't really get any answers from them other than to just walk in without the bio appointment letter. I filed service request online 09/22/2016.

Boys and Girls,

I've noticed that the best time to call is between 11am-2pm. Wait is usually less than a minute, even for tier 2.

Thanks for the info! :star: I may call them up on Monday! :help:

Clearly the best time is not now: I just called again and wait time for a Tier 2 is 228 minutes :rofl:

PS. there was no letter in my mailbox, of course; in fact, the two officers that I talked with today couldn't explain how or why I was told some days ago that I had been scheduled for an appointment. :huh:

228 minutes!? :wow::wow::wow: Conflicting info from USCIC? :no: It reminds me of good ol' days of I-130 process! :bonk:

I'll wait to see if they call me back today (I doubt it.) Otherwise, I'll file a request online.

I was wondering if it is the same as filing it by phone, since the tier 1 officers basically seem to be able to access just the same things we can access ourselves on the website.

Finally received biometrics letter in the mail today!! For October 7, 2016 @10:00.

Thought so. I ended up filing the request online today. "Expect a reply by Oct. 15"

did you file for a service request? and when did you get your NOA?

I did. I should've received my NOA on August 5, but it was lost in the mail. So I filed a service request 30-40 days later and they resent me a replacement few days ago along with my biometrics.

I just talked to, I believe, a Tier II rep. I had called to ask about my son's NOA1 since I only had received one for my wife.

They told me that both their biometrics appointments were scheduled for 10/14/16 to confirm that they did receive my son's information. They also said they would investigate why only my wife received an NOA1/ letter for extension of residency. Also, I was told that if I don't receive the biometrics letters by 10/6, that I could call to have it faxed to me.

Ok, what is going on with CSC?

We called last week to check on Biometrics and they said it hadn't even been scheduled and it could take 30-60 days to schedule it from the receipt of our I-751 (This was from a Tier II)

Yet, people who filed at the end of August are getting their biometrics? What the heck is going on?

6/24/2014 - I-130 Shipped via UPS to Chicago

6/26/2014 - I-130 Received and signed for at USCIS

7/1/2014 - E-mail of acceptance with Receipt number - NoA 1 (Routed to California Service Center)

07/15/2014 - Change of Address via phone call with USCIS, confirmation via e-mail.

7/30/2014 - I-130 Approved at USCIS - NoA 2 E-mail

08/13/2014 - NVC Received Approved I-130 package from USCIS

08/21/2014 - Case Number and IIN created at NVC

08/25/2014 - Case Number and IIN received via phone call. DS-261 Available and completed online.

I just called again myself, even if I already submitted a request, and even if I am still waiting for them to call me back. The guy told me he couldn't transfer me to a Tier 2 rep because their lines are saturated...!

Finnaly got replacment of NOA dated 09.20.16.Now wait for biometrics..I ll call these days see maybe I allready miss it haha...I made an Infopass for stamping my passport but now that I have NOA I m wondering If I can do Biometrics even If I was not scheduled? ???

Received an email response to service request. Stated experiencing longer processing period for biometric appts, but name has been electronically added to appointment scheduler and will receive appt letter in the mail.

Also said total processing time is six months.

Phase I - IV - Completed the Immigration Journey

I called USCIS and talked to Tier 1 rep! :no: I only waited for 3-5 minutes! :thumbs:

According to him (nice guy named James), he couldn't see if they had scheduled a Biometrics appointment for me so he filed a service request for me! :wacko:

But... he asked me if I received my Biometrics letter yet so I wonder if I have a Biometrics appointment date? :bonk:

Anyway, he game me a service request number and asked me to call him back if I don't receive my Biometrics letter in the next 30 days. :unsure:

Waiting game continues, I guess! :clock: It reminds me of the I-130 process! :cry:

I just talked to, I believe, a Tier II rep. I had called to ask about my son's NOA1 since I only had received one for my wife.

They told me that both their biometrics appointments were scheduled for 10/14/16 to confirm that they did receive my son's information. They also said they would investigate why only my wife received an NOA1/ letter for extension of residency. Also, I was told that if I don't receive the biometrics letters by 10/6, that I could call to have it faxed to me.

This worries me since your NOA1 date is 2 business days after mine so I should have my Biometrics appointment date in 2-3 weeks! :bonk:

I only talked to a Tier I rep so he couldn't tell me if I have a Biometrics appointment date yet! :dead:

I just called again myself, even if I already submitted a request, and even if I am still waiting for them to call me back. The guy told me he couldn't transfer me to a Tier 2 rep because their lines are saturated...!

I want to talk to a Tier 2 rep! :crying: But... the Tier 1 rep I talked to today asked me if I had called them up in the last 30 days! :wacko: Of course, I said "No" because it was my first time calling them. :whistle:
