So, I just called USCIS again and wasted 10 minutes of my precious life with the most stupid and useless officer in the entire USCIS. :ranting: I asked to speak with a Tier 2 officer, but when I heard the waiting time was 59 minutes, I decided to try again after work. Hopefully (never lose hope!) my biometrics letter is waiting for me at home. :rofl:

Clearly the best time is not now: I just called again and wait time for a Tier 2 is 228 minutes :rofl:

PS. there was no letter in my mailbox, of course; in fact, the two officers that I talked with today couldn't explain how or why I was told some days ago that I had been scheduled for an appointment. :huh:

Well, updating the timeline on mobile is a PITA since the formatting just looks weird no matter what. Got my bio letter in the mail today and it's on the day we've set a house inspection appointment! I might try to sneak my way in to an earlier appointment next week, otherwise I guess we need to push back the inspection which is also tough since due diligence period and everything...

I was wondering if it is the same as filing it by phone, since the tier 1 officers basically seem to be able to access just the same things we can access ourselves on the website.

I'll wait to see if they call me back today (I doubt it.) Otherwise, I'll file a request online.

I was wondering if it is the same as filing it by phone, since the tier 1 officers basically seem to be able to access just the same things we can access ourselves on the website.

It's the same. It's faster to do it yourself on the website. They're going to ask you the same questions they ask you on the web.

i'm really getting stressed about that bio appointment, call them won't help. have anyone ever consider going to their local USCIS office?

I don't think going to the USCIS office would help unless your green card has expired. Just keep calling them and file a service request. I got my biometrics through the service request I filed on the 7th this month. And I just received the biometrics letter in the mail today for October 7.
