Guys & Girls, I received the Bio appointment in a separate letter - then received another letter with my service request that I called in about the 31st last month - that also had another copy of my Bio appointment.

Did a service request on the 9 th hopefully I ll get something soon also

The 28th, but I may go in earlier. Have a trip planned the 28th and flight is leaving around 12 so might be tight on time to get it done the 28th - but we'll see if I get time to make it happen before.

That's tight unless your appointment is at 8am AND at a place near the airport!

Bad news.

I called USCIS again and the office told me that I've failed to appear for Biometrics they had scheduled for August 26. #######!! I called them several times every week and none of the officer has told me that the biometrics was already scheduled. I told them I've never received my receipt nor the biometrics. How is that possible??? They said they have sent everything on august 5 included the Biometrics. Weird.

I suggest that you guys keep calling regarding the biometrics. Don't let them mess up your case.

I called USCIS again and the office told me that I've failed to appear for Biometrics they had scheduled for August 26. #######!! WHAT?? And what did they say when you told them you had already called them and they gave you no info about an appointment? Did you talk to a Tier 2 officer? When are they giving you another date for the biometrics?

Oh, I'm so pissed off I can't imagine how annoyed you must be. I hope it's solved easily and soon.

Yea. It was a tier 2 officer. He said "I don'tknow what the previous officers told you, I'm just telling you what it says on the screen." They rescheduled me for October 7 and ask me to wait for the biometrics and call them again on 28th.

Weird though. Because I talked to another officer just an hur before this one. And she said the biometric has not been schedule. Stop calling. I told her "I wouldn't have called several times if you people did your job correctly. Do you think I enjoy calling you people and being put on hold?" Pretty rude lady.

I just called USCIS and I chose to talk to someone in Spanish (not that it matters) and the guy who took my information was very nice and explained me that the biometrics letter appointment is normally issued no later than 30 days after application of I-751 and that I should have gotten mine any time after Sep 02. He opened a service request and gave me a reference number which will identify my case if I have to call again. He told me to wait 15 days up to 30 to receive any type of communication from USCIS in regards of my case, but I can call again as early as 15 days from now to check what is going on. I try to not get stressed out or nervous, specially when I see that no one who sent package to California in this forum, hasn't received the letter either. Not a consolation because we all should be on track like everyone else.

I have been reading all the posts since I received notification to my email, but I am not really active because I am swamped with school.

I'll give an update as soon as I get any news in my case.

I talked to Tier 2 Officer. I don't think the immigration in Louisiana office will know about the case.

I wouldn't worry about it at this point. You have been re-scheduled and all is on track. Too bad about the setback - but I had a friend that called after not hearing anything for 6 months - they said he missed his biometric 3 months ago and his case was abandoned. He told them he didn't know about it and said he hadn't received any comms from them. They reinstated everything and he did drop in bio the week after. His card came in the mail without interview 4 weeks after that.

At this point, as soon as you get your letter - go and do a drop in. Your case will be faster that way since its been sitting for long.

Appointment is at 8am in the city. I should be able to make it - but will be tight. Trying to get things in line for a drop in tho.. Very busy life right now tho.. I'll keep you guys posted!

Anywho - good luck on the service request. I would acctually urge EVERYONE that has not received their bio appointment letter within 30 days confirmed receipt of their I-751 - to call in and file a service request. It seems something is not working properly at CSC, looking at rt1012's experience as well. A service request also documents that you have not received any comms from them in case of any issues later.

Do I need the actual biometrics notice to bring with me when I go for a biometrics? Or I can just go without it if I already know the date?

Well, just in case I still haven't receive the notice in the mail before the appointment.

You need to bring the letter with you. It has a barcode and all info about your case that they need. If you go for a drop-in, you need to bring the original letter as well. Seems like you are on track tho and should have something from them this week. If not, make sure they have your address right.

I just called USCIS and although they are not allowed to tell the date of the appointment, she told me I have been scheduled for my biometrics and I should be receiving the letter these days, probably tomorrow (I should contact them again if I have not received it by Friday)

(I won't celebrate yet, just in case...)
