Freakin' CSC - more people should call and file service requests so they get some fire under their asses and start sending out Bio Appointment letters.

I'll fill out https://egov.uscis.gov/e-request/displayNDNForm.do?entryPoint=init&sroPageType=ndn in two weeks!

I just called uscis customer service # , they told me I could call them back to assist me to get biometric letter after 45 days filed the i751. Isn't it 30 days ???

45 days!?

So I called last week on tuesday they gave me a receipt number and said they will send another one...nothing yet in mail..nothing.

He said no Biometrics yet and I have to wait...I ll call tommorow maybe any news...another day in paradise

It has been more than 30 days and I dont have bio appt. you do not have to call USCIS to file the request for them to follow up.

Which one did you use? I don't see the option to do that. I know the USCIS office here is not busy at all, so they might be able to accomodate me for biometrics.

I called USCIS again yesterday and they told me the i-751 process is going to take 1 year now, not 6 months.

And I'm still yet to receive my NOA1. They said they mailed it out last week, but I still haven't received it. I asked them again and they said they haven't sent it out. Incompetent people, indeed.

That could be one reason, yes.

Mainly because they won't process anything until confirming your identity and running required background and security checks (and that's what biometrics are for.) So, the later you get the bio appt, the longer the process will take. I am sure almost everybody wants to get over with anything USCIS as soon as possible, right?

I may end up applying for citizenship before getting my 10-year Green Card!

Your Green Card expires in 2 weeks!? I suggest that you don't leave the country until you get NOA1!

That could be one reason, yes.

Your case is not considered complete without biometrics, and will not be forwarded for final adjudication until biometrics is done. Therefore the longer it takes to complete biometrics, the longer it takes for final approval.

I'm concerned that I haven't received my biometrics notice yet... as you can see for the Vermont filers I'm pretty early on the list but still outstanding. I contacted my lawyer to see if they got my notice, and nothing. I am checking my mailbox everyday like a paranoid postal fiend. I'm getting nervous. And I am going out of the US for 4 days in October, I'd like to get the biometrics done before that.

Maybe I'll do the online request like Pinkrlion did... I'm at a loss for what to do next, my lawyer says be patient, but I'm looking at the trend and it seems weird I didn't get it yet.

You can always call and ask if a biometrics has been scheduled for you yet.

Help I'm filling for divorce after sending my husband I-751 and he did his biometrics 2 weeks. And I won't file for no divorce waiver. What's gonna happen?
