I file service request 15 days ago due to my i751 is iutside processing time. I just got letter from my mailbox and it said they saidbsorry for the delay and my case is still pending and they dont have the timeframe when they gonna review my case. Indont knownwhat doest it mean, probably because i have pending n400 too?

It probably means you'll just have to wait a bit more, unfortunately.  :clock:

I'm in the same boat since I've applied for N-400 too.

I've filed for Service Request too so I'll probably get the same response.

I finally had my I751 + N400 interview last week.. Good thing my US citizen wife was with me as they called her and interviewed her as well for I751 part. Interview went pretty well and I passed the N400 test. The IO said that they have recommended me for approval but can't have same day oath ceremony as I-751 status change takes 24hrs before N-400 approval kicks in. It been a week and no change to either status. I haven't received oath letter in mail either.

Too bad that they couldn't have the oath ceremony on the same day!

I've applied for N-400 while my I-751 is pending so I assume that I'll need to go back to the same office in a month or so for my oath ceremony after passing my I-751 and N-400 interviews.

Hi everyone, hope my short summary don't discourage you from your own case, but I'm is still pending for removal even after 4+ yrs in marriage ... God knows what type of ppl work in USCIS and are they really related to mother earth 🌎.

I'll try to give u guys my basic info and what options I'm considering as of now, however all cases are different and procedure time varies depending on circumstances.

I married my lovely wife in Feb 2013, at that time I couldn't afford to start my legal papers, due to my past loans and tax payments. Not everyone is born lucky and rich, with a dream employment. So, I filed for my first GC 8 months later, Sep 2013. Interview was a disaster, not so much from our behalf but the female 1 type, same as my wife btw, didn't liked us at all, and month later we got that ultimatum letter for more evidence. At this point we just resubmitted our original paperwork and I got approved on Aug 2014. Wonderful, you would think. Then on our 2 yr mark, same day on Aug 2016, I submitted my I-751. Soon after I had my biometric on Oct 2016 ... And that was the last humanly contact I ever had with those type of ppl. I did had my Infopass appointment on Dec 2017, saying they have me scheduled for our second interview, right after holidays, but I'm still waiting for them to notified me ... Now about my options, I did spoke with some immigration lawyer (250$ for 20min, cha-ching $$$) and he told me two things. First, most likely I'm being investigated, and I can file a lawsuit against them (5k + in cash $$$), or second just wait until all the evil in this world disappears and love take over our planet. I might even do that ... But I'm considering more suitable options, which would be to contact my local Alderman office and let him contact State's Attorney office, to see what d hells going on. Other then that, I might wait for my tax returns and spend it all on that said lawyer fees ... My only dilemma would be if I should file for my N400 and get even more deeper into my own Ambis?

With that said I want to congratulate all d ppl that was approved and best of luck to all of us ! God bless y'all

My only advise to you is that Do Not apply for N400 in your current situation and keep pushing to get your green card's approval. I have I 751 and N400 pending currently and it's a nightmare as I don't even know where my file is located physically!

Copy that and thank you. I still plan to contact my Alderman office, for his mighty  support, right in time before new elections begin ... Ps. I'm sure they have your files somewhere along mine, just chin up. Nothing last forever 👍

Bro, I am also waiting for their response to my e-request and my case is outside of the processing window for half-months almost. I spoke to tier officer just asking me to keep waiting. No fancy words from him. I have to keep waiting.  BTW, I did NOT file N400.

can't have same day oath ceremony

What is your field office?

Not all field offices do same day ceremony.

Los Angeles has one or two ceremonies per month.

San Diego is once per month.

etc.

Finally got the interview letter yesterday, my long journey of waiting for 751 will end with the adjudication of 400 on the 26th of next month. However, I won't be complacent until all this is over. I will take my spouse and a packet of ongoing evidence for our bona fide marriage with me just in case. I might still even be waiting for 751 if I did not apply for 400. Good luck to all.

I think it will be fine, but we take nothing for granted, I am still collecting evidence for our marriage, and I won't stop until everything is approved, but I am so excited that it is going to be over soon. Hopefully it will be your turn soon.

I think your interview is right around the corner, they merely delayed your 751 so they could combine it with 400. There are still people who have not applied for 400 who are still waiting for 751, and some of them could not wait any longer and applied for 400 after months of resisting to apply for it, and now they might be running the risk of being combined and delayed for even further, it defeats the whole purpose of not applying for 400. I think you did the right thing, CSC 751 processing is long and unpredictable, and your files are somewhere. If I got the interview date, yours might be coming soon, you did the right thing by applying for 400 while your 751 was pending. Hang in there.
