I sent the change of address directly to CSC by mail and I also did it online. CSC sent me an email confirmation about the change of address very quickly. I sent it next day because I wanted them to update it as soon as possible.  I receive all the notice and my green card without an issue.

You will need to forward your mail anyways to the new address. I mean you can change the address everywhere individually, but it always good to forward all your mail with the post office because you never know.  I did forward my mail with post office and also signed for Informed Delivery (free), where you can see whats going to be deliver to your mail box.

It has been slow since the holidays, looks like it might be stalling again.

Received my GC in the mail today, after getting approval on 1/4/18.

Online case status has still not been updated since August 2016.

I have NOA 1 Sep 2016 (timeline already in Sep 2016 Thread) and today I got the email notification that "Card was mailed to me".

So it seems that they are moving along.

I did not submit N-400 and I won't for now.

 

My guess is that your case was transferred to a Field Office and will never be approved but you will just get your citizenship!!

Yes, I have been expecting to have both applications adjudicated and eventually lead to citizenship this summer sometimes. Congratulations on your 751 approval. Yeah, but there are still about 50 percent of the August filers that have yet to be approved.

NObody would be able to tell you for sure. For example, at my post office I've been told immigration mail never gets forwarded even if you pay for premium forwarding. I did read stories with both outcomes: when it's gets forwarded and when it is sent back to USICS. You'll never know. But I would not belong on a chance in that matter. Post office do have a regulation prohibiting them to forward government mail, yet there is a human factor too such as not paying attention. Not all mail comes as first class cerfitied. Notices  are usually comes in plain white envelopes as I've seen here people posted a pictures of it. Just do an address change, ring them in a few weeks after to double check address on file, and make usps forwarding anyways for all your  mail

Thanks! This does answer some queries. I do know for sure that it is a legal requirement for them to adjudicate I-751 before N400 is approved. They have to do it. Hope they do it on the same day and have my file

Congratulations @cindy0908 and @Sabawen! Hopefully there's lots of action this week! I'm going to visit my sister (and her new babies) in Canada next month and I'd really love to have my shiny new green card for the trip (I have the I-551 stamp so it's not a giant deal, but, like all of us, I'm really tired of waiting!)
