Looks like the majority of the early August filers have been approved except me and a few here and there and a number of applicants that applied for 400 even though there aren't that many early August filers listed here. I have made an info pass appointment with my field office in Los Angeles on the 29th of this month, my 751 will probably be outside the normal processing times in 2 weeks. Not sure how much more I can find out, but it is worth a try. A friend of mine got lucky at a field office in NY, upon the 751 inquiry, the field office director actually told him to come back for an interview with his spouse while his 400 was pending, and he got his 751 approved the next day after the interview, not saying it is going to happen to me, but who knows? USCIS is highly unpredictable, and I got nothing to lose by making an info pass appointment before the year ends after waiting for my 751 nearly 17 months. Maybe at least they can confirm what is going on with my 751 as to whether it is being combined or what have you. I got nothing to lose by going to my filed office anyway.

I also have my Infopass on Monday 18th and let's see what happen. It took me more than 2 months to get an appoitment.  21 applicants are still pending from the list (without counting the ones who filled N-400) so basically 22 approved and 21 pending...I'm happy to see people getting approved....slowly but surely. That means we'll get approve soon :)

It took you 2 months to make an appointment? Wow, insane. It took me 10 seconds, maybe because I made it at 3AM. Yes, people are getting approved, but kind of slowly. I don't expect to be approved until 6 months from now at the 400 interview, but it is good to at least know what is going on with my 751. Fingers crossed.

Yes, it is insane. I checked for appoitment at any time, midnight, during the morning, afternoon, night , 4am and no luck at all. Finally I got one.

I had to make an info pass appointment with Santa Ana office(An hour drive from LA)for the 551 stamp 5 months ago because Los Angeles field office is always impossible, but I guess I was extremely lucky this morning. We will see how it plays out, it has been almost 1 year and 5 months since we filed our 751, but 400 probably has delayed it.

That is lucky to find appointment so fast! I was worrying about that earlier too, but I found out I don't really have to make an appointment since I won't take any trip outside the country also I don't plan to change job. basically just wait and pray. However I do hope to have an better idea the speed CSC is processing since ETA has been pushed out again and again.

Let us know how it goes! I'm really interested to see how we can try to expedite our cases - it's been 17 months!

It was unusual for me to be able to make an appointment with my field office so fast considering it is in Los Angeles. I assume in 2 weeks, the updated processing times will make my 751 officially fall outside the processing times. We will see.

Sure, will do, we are in the exact same situation. Maybe I will get lucky that they may look into my 751 case when I am there, lol.(I can always fanrasize)

Maybe can talk with the officer a little if the person is amiable, not sure if they really know that happens in CSC and how it moves. Yeah, their updates are too unreliable. They gotta provide some solid info for tons of people like us live in anxiety.

Yes, I remain skeptical of whatever they will have told me by the time I do the info pass, you can't trust them just like you can't trust what the so called tier 2 officers tell you on the phone. Only adjudicators will know, but I am just taking advantage of a few options we have provided by USCIS. We really don't have any say and power, it is totally up to the adjudicators. That is the nightmarish part of this whole excruciating process.

You got nothing to lose. Maybe you will get lucky to be able to talk to the director of the field office.

I have a vacation day to lose though!  :bonk:

If my contract doesn't get renewed in April, I'll have more time and have nothing to lose by making an InfoPass appointment.  :dancing:

In that case, yeah, maybe you should just wait for 400
