I agree with Austincanada. I have no lawyer, but I think it is question of rights. If you legally comply with the 3-year period to gain citizenship, why do we have to wait longer because of USCIS inco

Good morning VJ peeps,

 

I got a notification at 11:10am EST that my case status is updated: Card in Production!!!! Approval 12/12/17! I am on a divorcee waiver.

 

I am beyond ecstatic and sat crying for the last 45 minutes... my nightmare is over! Now to wait to hold that little piece of plastic in my hand :D

Hi all,


This process sucks! Not only have the gone backward. My husband is in school and they won't allow him to register for class because the card is expired. The letter is also expired as well. We have been trying to get an info pass appointment - impossible in Orlando FL where everyone is from somewhere in the world. We have tried the midnight trick!!!

 

Any other suggestions.

They can't have gone back a month.  Just another data point here:

 

NOA: 8/12/16

Approved 12/6/17

Sent: 12/11/17

 

CSC, SF office

 

Because we are traveling soon, we got the I-551 stamp at an infopass appointment a month back.  Only appointment was in Sacramento, and the guy took the old card and letter (let us take a photo first).  Only 6-month stamp, too.  I guess we didn't need that stamp but I'm still glad we weren't biting our nails at the last minute.

 

We held off on the N-400 because I didn't want any chance to delay the I-751.  Was waiting for conditions removal before applying global entry.  Then we will do the N-400.

 

Never had any issue using the extension letter coming from Europe or South America.  Airlines should know what's up, and if they don't their boss will.

 

Thanks all who posted here.  I followed it with great interest even though I didn't have any updates to post.

You could try a walk in, but it all depends on the office whether they will let him in. You can only register for InfoPass appointments, when they're booked, on weekdays. Keep trying to get an appointment. Check throughout the day, multiple times. If you try to go as a walk in, try first thing in the morning.

I  had similar issues as I was trying to set appointment for about 2weeks, I constantly kept checking them throughout the day and one day at noon there was openings so I got one.

 

my case was received a 8/10/2016 

 

Yesterday I checked, and it said nothing, I have checked this for a year every day!!!!! and today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Im at work just bouncing around from happiness and no one understands what is going on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Your husband's school is absolutely committing an illegal act, they can not do it. I also go to school and registered for winter term a few weeks ago. I filed for ROC 9 months ago. I have not faced any problem since I filed for ROC.

I tried changing last two digits of my case number and searched for its status. I found that to be a useful tool to check whats up with near by applicants... My NOA is Aug 19th and none of the applicants after Aug 15th seems to have gotten any approval. Hopefully this will move by end of January. This wait is absolutely soul crushing

It is soul crushing... I try to have a positive outlook in life but unfortunately this seems to be an indefinite drag. The good thing though is we are all almost there and we will all be approved... :jest::jest:
