I'm also new here and I can see most of you know each other for a long time and that's nice because you been together the whole process.  I get very excited every time I got a notification,  because I'm thinking somebody got approved. Let's not be rude and support each other even if you got the GC.

Ambition19 you're not alone. I'm also still waiting. Let's be positive, we'll receive good news this week!

This is so so frustrating. I'm basically one of the very few people who have not been approved for beginning of august filers. God help us

My NOA for 751 is 8/8/2016. I am not even sure that there are that many early August filers that are approved, some I guess, but the majority of August filers have yet to be approved, so you are not alone. I will probably have to wait for another 5 or 6 months or so since they probably have delayed my 751 due to my pending 400. Anyway, better days are coming, just need to keep waiting it out unfortunately. It is frustrating for sure, but to me personally, I will just keep thinking about the bigger picture which is my 400, and if my 751 is approved before that, that will be a nice surprise/miracle for the piece of mind. I am sure you will hear from them soon if you didn't apply for 400, you could hears from USCIS anytime, I think you are almost there!

I’m sorry if I’m bringing negativity here. I just don’t know where else I could share frustrations right now.

In the RFE letter I received, it says I need to include joint bank accounts and house bills in our name, which we don’t have because my husband bought the house long before we meet and same thing with bills except the car payment and car insurance, that’s all we have as joint when it comes to house bills. I’ll just have to research how I’m gonna explain that to immigration. But the good thing is I’m the primary on his life and medical insurance and vice versa that we have from our individual jobs.

I wish the immigration gets better with organizing immigrants papers so that no one has to put the same s**t all over again. It cost a lof of money printing pictures and it’s bad for the environment wasting so much papers

What about joint bank account?  Do you have bills that come to the house related to care or up keep of the home that you pay.  Home delivery for groceries, lawn care services, etc....

You will have to write a letter stating why your name is not on home.

They dont want pictures, they want proof of living together and comingling finances.

Hi,

I am August 1st 2014 filer. My case is still pending in the USCIS website, it says we received your case. I moved from Florida to Houston last July for work purposes. I filed my N-400 in august 2017. Everything is pending now and I am so frustrated . Can anybody add my case to the timeline please? Thanks for this website that support our cases, and handles our frustrations.

My husband’s name is the main name of our amazon credit card account but I have a credit card under the same account, so whenever I order from amazon It’s always under his name. We contacted amazon and they said they’re gonna send us a mail explaining that we both own the account, we have to wait for a week for that. That’s the only credit card we own together. All my bills are under my name, but we have car insurance that’s the only thing that has both our name. And Costco membership.

My husband says it’s complicated to put my name or change the name of his house because he has to refinance the house (we’re not renting, he own the house).

Adding your name to the mortgage is definitely not possible unless the house is refinanced, correct.

However, your name can be added to the TITLE. That is done at the county records with a Grant Deed from your spouse to you and your spouse.

I was in the same situation and my husband added me to the title. Once added to the title the property tax bill comes with both names.

Go to the county office and record the Grant Deed and request a copy at the same time.

Also, make sure to provide USCIS with what they have asked for. The RFE asks for joint bank accounts and house bills. So that's what you have to provide with.

You can send the Amazon credit card proof but you will still have to explain in a letter why you don't have joint bank accounts or house bills.

It might be enough for AOS but probably not enough for Removal of conditions, where you are expected to have a lot more evidence (2 years worth) of financial commingling and cohabitation.

Is your timeline updated?

I went to the USCIS processing time website, and it seems that the California Service Center went back one month. :( I don't understand how their processing can "go back in time". I was so excited last month, that they were already in August 3rd, but now it shows as July 27th. This is crazy and sad. T_T
