I think we have the absolute worst luck with USCIS processing times - August i751 filers AND Seattle N400. There's no winning!

At least you don't need your passport stamped *again* in February.

A July filer at the Portland office is having an interview in January!  :wow:  I wish I lived in Portland (or anywhere else besides Seattle)!  :cry:

I agree with Austincanada. I have no lawyer, but I think it is question of rights. If you legally comply with the 3-year period to gain citizenship, why do we have to wait longer because of USCIS inco

10 year card received in the mail yesterday 12/7.

 

Turns out our case was transferred from CSC to Vermont at some point I guess due to backlog.

 

No RFE and No Interview for us.

6/26/2014 - I-130 Received and signed for at USCIS

7/1/2014 - E-mail of acceptance with Receipt number - NoA 1 (Routed to California Service Center)

07/15/2014 - Change of Address via phone call with USCIS, confirmation via e-mail.

7/30/2014 - I-130 Approved at USCIS - NoA 2 E-mail

08/13/2014 - NVC Received Approved I-130 package from USCIS

08/21/2014 - Case Number and IIN created at NVC

08/25/2014 - Case Number and IIN received via phone call. DS-261 Available and completed online.

8/26/2014 - AoS Fee invoiced and paid online.

Portland has some good food. I could move there. :dance:

I can't believe how long this process is. I feel like there should be a point at which we can a refund.....or the same value in massages, wine, and chocolate. I could definitely use some of that right now (and always!) :D

I hope when I file for my N-400 I won't wait that long as I am currently waiting for I-751. ROC is such a lengthy process these days at CSC :wacko:

I think we paid about $650 for the I-751 application fee + biometrics, eh? :bonk:

 

I wish I could get my $650 back!  You can even fly to Florida or Hawaii from Seattle for $650!  :cry:

I've flown to Denmark for $650! But with the weather right now, Hawaii sounds amazing!!! 

 

Where in Canada are you from? If it's Vancouver, this process must be just sooooo extra painful.
