Hey guys, my NAO 08.01.2016. I got an email over the weekend that my status is card production!

Absolutely no movement on my N-400. Still same status (We've received your application). I think they are waiting for the I-751 file from CSC but CSC refused to send it and instead adjudicated my I-751. Hope they'll send it now.. or something..

You just can't have it both ways with USCIS. It will be interesting to see if applicants like me who might get a 751 approval with 400 in line for an interview pending? My NOA for 751 is 8/8/2016, so if they were to approve me despite my 400 pending in line for an interview, it could be anytime now. We shall see.

Good to know. It seems to be that once you're 'in line' they can't process your I751 anymore. Bummer.

That is very possible, but who would have known Rerto would get a 751 approval almost 4 months after he applied for 400? We shall see, USCIS is toally unpredictable.

I just checked the tracker (to update it) and we don't actually have you on it. You also don't have your timeline filled in, so:

Last update for I-751 was November 9th, then this table got updated on November 16th and December 1st without any move for I-751. This is because the table gets updated couple of times every month, but only once per month for each specific type of application. I think they will update it for us mid of December and it will be 08/10/16 or so.

Ok, I called the USCIS call center..

 

The lady said the following: Your background check came back the 23rd of August but your file has not been forwarded to your field office because your had I-751 pending and NBC requested I-751 from CSC to complete the file and send it over to the field office. She doesn't know why CSC didn't send it over right away and waited until they approved I-751. She said that the I-751 file is now in transit to NBC. She also told me that they wouldn't send the full file to the field office until they've been able to schedule an interview - but the field office is backed up so that might take some months.

 

I don't know how to interpret what she is saying as I was under the impression that once the file was complete, NBC sends it to the field office for interview scheduling.. Anyway, for some reason CSC decided they didn't want to send my file to NBC and instead adjudicated my I-751, then sent it.. so it explains why I'm not in-line, because the file is not completed.

 

On the San Francisco Field Office filers thread, someone told me that I'm pending background checks - that's why I'm not in-line yet. The lady on the phone told me that background checks completed August 23rd... So that's not the case.. I'm just waiting because the field office is backlogged. Thought you guys wanted to know.. even tho it's not I-751 information...

By the way, out of the people that have received their new cards - are your signatures on the cards? Mine said "Signature Waived" where the signature was on my previous card. I know this is valid - but thinking it might be because of Biometrics timed out and they just approved it without updated biometrics and signature missing because of that..
