I'm just like you! My NOA is August 1, 2016 CSC and I haven't heard anything since my fingerprint. My field office is Memphis.

I'm really sorry. We're really blind sided huh? It's the worst.

I'm so busy at work and trying my best not to think about my green card I never even check my status up til tonight, I'm just so tired of waiting already. I need to go back and spend time with my grandma in the Philippines she's getting old. I'm just not comfortable spending money to buy plane tickets when I'm not even sure what's going on with my green card status, I don't feel safe travelling to my country without my green card, specially with the kind of president we have.

You can probably apply online, or you can fill out the form.

Required to send in at the time of application:

  • Copy of your greencard/i-551 stamp
  • Copy of Marriage certificate

Stuff you can send up front or bring to interview

  • Tax returns/transcripts for 3 yrs
  • evidence of name change (if you want a different name for your citizenship)
  • evidence of spouse's citizenship
  • marriage evidence (same kind of stuff from I-751 but for 3 yrs
  • evidence of any arrests/convictions
  • additional evidence you want to provide

Thanks so much for your help, could you please add me in timeline?

I filed documents on July 15th, 2016. NOA on 3rd August, fingerprint on Oct 13rd, still waiting for approval.

It is actually good thing that at least your case moved. As far as I know and based on VJ members, it normally takes them 1-2 months or even less (some people have got respond within 15 days after they respond to RFEs). Just make sure you include all the stuffs they have asked for and if you don't have them just explain them in your cover letter.

Yes, they seem to be responding reasonably quickly to RFEs. I still hope I don't get one, but I'm confident that it won't be too much of a delay if I do. Good luck to you too!

In my opinion you should submit the on going evidence from the day after you submitted your 751 all the way to now. They probably also want to see your on going marriage, just a suggestion.

Sorry to hear that, in a sense it's not a bad news like other people said. May I know what do they require in the list for RFE? Thank you
