I-751 August 2016 Filers

I'm planning to call this Monday. It would be exactly a month since I sent my package.

My lawyer said this...

"It usually comes within 30 days, but there could be a delay for some reason. If the check has been deposited, ask the bank for a copy of the check and see if there is a tracking number or receipt number on the check. Call USCIS customer service center and check on it: 1 (800) 375-5283."

So, I went to the bank to ask for a copy of the cashed check. USCIS stamped some numbers in the back. I don't know which one is the receipt number though. It has 10 digits, but no letters in front of them,

I've been to bank today also but they said they can t see a copy cause it was converted ACH.I don t know what s going on.I find it ridiculous check was cashed after 2 days and after a month still no NOA.I plan calling monday also,obviously nothing will arrive in mail.

I called USCIS for my NOA, they ask me to wait for a month and call back. I just don't want to be stressed about it, I tracked the USCIS receipt number printed on the check, it was nothing.

What does your receipt number looks like? Does it have letters in front of the number or just plain numbers? We can actually track it onthe website?

We got our biometrics appointment today. There are two codes on the letter beginning with EAC followed by 10 digits. Entering the second code worked on the website, but didn't say much aside from what we already know.

My NOA1 date is 08/19/2016 but they cashed my check on 08/24/2016. Its seems like they issue the NOA first then process your payment.

My package arrived at CSC yesterday so they may have already mailed me NOA1 today! :dance: They'll probably cash my check early next week! :yes:

We got our biometrics appointment today.

I just checked the I-751 July 2016 Filers group! :idea: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/601643-i-751-july-2016-filers/page-15

It looks like CSC hasn't sent the Biometrics letters to anyone who sent their I-751 applications after July 15th (assuming that their timeline table is updated)! :bonk: :ranting: :protest: :cry:

Hey everyone,

My immigration attorney told me that after biometrics, I should schedule an infopass appointment, take my notice and biometrics with me and have my passport stamped. Apparently this makes it safer to travel because the stamp plus exp GC and NOA can be viewed by the immigration agent at port of entry and gives you the clearance to reenter the US without any difficulties/lots of questions. Anyone else heard of this? Prior to hearing this I just assumed the NOA and expired GC with passport was enough to travel without issues.

Mine starts with WAC and 10 numbers follow it. Currently it doesn't show up on the USCIS site, but apparently it will be trackable per the receipt. I'm thinking it will probably show up something when the review process officially starts or after biometrics, I'm just speculating.

It may depends on your situation (your passport, travel destination, if you have a job in the US, if you're applying for I-175 with your spouse, etc.). :reading:

Of course, I don't have an immigration attorney so I haven't heard about this! :mellow:

You probably sent your application package via Express since it took one day (unless you live in California)! :wow:

Yep, I used Priority mail Express. No, I live 2000 miles away from California. :blink: And it actually took less than a day :dancing:
