7/30/2014 - I-130 Approved at USCIS - NoA 2 E-mail

08/13/2014 - NVC Received Approved I-130 package from USCIS

08/21/2014 - Case Number and IIN created at NVC

Anyway there was a person who got acceptance letter from VSC where his case was in CSC in July 16 filers, so was just wondering if they did any unofficial case transfer to VSC. 

 

Yes, that does happen sometimes - the card and the approval letter are mailed from different places, so sometimes USPS is faster with one or the other.

 

I remember that person. There hasn't been an official workload transfer that I've read about, but they're not really famous for their departmental transparency, so I suppose it's possible that they've been sending some files back and forth.

Thanks for your reply, I want to file N 400 is because I'm afraid of uncertainty for the future N 400. But my bigger fear is actually the ROC interview, my husband is very weak in communication. If he is nervous it's gonna be very tough.  That's the major reason holding me back from applying N 400.

You still could get a 751 interview without applying for 400, but you just need to be prepared. Your husband's fear of the interview is understandable, but what if an interview is required? Just have to work on it until your husband feel comfortable just in case. But understood your reason for trying to avoid the interview. Good luck.

Yeah, still have chance to get ROC interview. Praying not to be asked for ROC interview. I-751 seems to be much harder than we expected, it turned out to be a long battle for all of us.

I think your approval is right around the corner if you filed last August, but as long as you submitted strong evidence, i think you will get the approval without an interview, but if you get unlucky and get an interview, it won't be as scary as you think as long as you know each other and the marriage is real. You will be ok, my 751 will likely to be skipped over until my 400 interview, and i might have 2 on the same day, but i am not worried, we will be prepared. Keep us informed, i think your approval is looming! Watch the space! Good luck.

Nobody likes them, but for immigration, if they could trade 6 or 7 months of waiting with 2 interviews tomorrow, I would do it in a heart beat and so I could get this over with!!:jest:
