I am not getting my hopes up, but who knows how USCIS operates internally because I am not sure if USCIS processes 751 based on physically where 400 is, the minute one files 400, they probably will know in the system, and if that is the general policy, why wouldn't they just put the 751 on hold knowing 751 is already filed, but what do i know?

Perhaps USCIS issues you a 10-year Green Card when someone was already working on your I-751 case while they receive your N-400 application?  :reading:

I called USCIS last week and talked to tier 2. Wanted to get more information about what had happened with my N400 application Oct 26, the day before I had my infopass. The tier 2 officer was extremely helpful and looked into the case. He said that NBC had requested my I751 case file from CSC. Once the file is received they will complete the N400 with necessary checks and forward it to the field office - once all is complete. When the field office has is complete - they will schedule the interview. He said I will not receive and actual green card and I should expect the rest of the process to take another 5-7 months. Possibly longer if there are delays running checks.

Ah, they'll skip your I-751 and process your N-400 application, eh?

Did they say that they were refunding your I-751 application fee?

All I can imagine in my head is a person working at an off-site storage warehouse, peering into a vast room, stacked from floor to ceiling with tens of thousands of outstanding ROC files, shouting "No, can't find it".

This happened to some applicants for their I-130 applications!  :bonk:

I meant USCIS issues you a 10-year Green Card when someone has already physically opened your I-751 application package when they receive your N-400 application.

So our cases will most likely be skipped over since we sent our N-400 applications while our I-751 application packages were still sitting in the warehouse unopened.  :bonk:

no, it was wrong I am not Approved yet .I would like to know any one Approved Today.

Hi johncali9,

So, to be clear, you are not saying YOU were approved; you are asking if anyone was approved today?

We're all pretty quick to jump, since we've been waiting so long, so try to be clear in your posts.

I'm sure lots of people were approved today, but I don't think any of us here in this thread were approved today. Or they haven't told us about it.

Also, yes, your timeline is very confusing... it shows dates from 2012. What's the story?

You are right, our applications are probably just sitting there in the warehouses, lol. Unless they do something different with August filers, I highly doubt it. There is a new update on processing times. I am surprised to see Los Angeles field office is almost 1.5 months ahead of yours in terms of 400 processing. Seatle office is now processing 12/25/2016. L.A office is at 2/6/2017. A bit surprising given the crowded nature of Los Angeles. Hope your office picks up soon.

Kind of disturbing that johncali9 applied for 751 in 2012, and has not been approved, must be an anomaly..Washington just got totally blue last night! Hope you will be able to vote next year, that is one of my goals too, can't wait to cast my first vote next November.

They said I should be hearing new within a month. This is stressing me out, I just wanna get done with all this. The online page has said the same for more than a year on August 1 we received your petition to remove the condition.

I suspect that a visa officer (or visa officers) quit at the Seattle office.

The economy is red hot now especially in Seattle (thanks to Amazon, Microsoft, Starbucks, Expedia, etc.) so many people are changing jobs for more money.

Something tells me that a visa officer got a better job and the Seattle office is short staffed until they hire and train new people (assuming that they can hire replacements).  <_<

Perhaps, my lawyer told me LA field office dispatched a good number of officers to states that were hit by storms, but it seems to be moving now, so maybe they are back again. Hope your office picks up speed soon.
